  • I'll give Leeza Gibbons a 10!

    8.0
    "Great"
Watching Leeza Gibbons in that sexy outfit is a joy to me. I been supporting her from day one anbd I will continue to support her until she wins "Dancing with the Stars" or she gets voted off. I hope not because I 100% in her corner. The other dancers are so-so, but Leeza Gibbons shines despite a setback. As long as Leeza contines to dance, I will be out there continuing to root for her. Seeing Leeza dance has put me in heaven. God there's a angel who loves to dance. her name is Leeza Gibbons. I hope she not voted off.moreless
  • Tonight's episode proved that some dance instructor's need to step it up.

    9.5
    "Superb"
Tonight showed the difference's that are attained in each couple's dance according to the decisions that each dance instructor makes. I absolutely adore Max but the song he chose for himself and Laila was not powerful enough for their dance. I really believe a strong powerful dance requires the same type of music, not only for a student learning but also for the audience watching. Tony should have chosen a waltz for Leeza. Let's be real and consider her age and how long she's been learning to dance, a waltz would have been much more easier for her as well as graceful. Edyta as well should have chosen a waltz for John for the same reason. He really struggled tonight because of an error on Edyta's part. Jonathon is an excellent teacher and he seems to care so much for the student. He always makes Heather look so wonderful, never out dancing her, nor dancing circles around her. I am so impressed with him as an instructor and a gentleman. The student also comes first with him by never putting his feelings first. Kym was right on with the song and dance. Both her and Joey were so powerful with their dance. Kym has always been right on with dance and music, just like Jonathon. Apolo and Julianne always talk about their youth being against them, but again another great night. Karina, bless her soul, works so hard but really lets her emotions get in the way. Billy Ray has come along way and she's doing a wonderful job with him. Cheryl always does a wonderful job with music and dance and Ian always does his best. Elena really needs put the student first in both dance and music. So far it seems to be all about her. Maybe that's why Clyde's getting discouraged.moreless
  • What a Weird episode

    9.4
    "Superb"
I am so confused by the music they pick for these dances. It makes no sense. Especially Layla's. It did not even come close to giving the passion of the dance. I treally just made no sense.

Poor John to be talked to like that with his mother watching! So Embartrassing. I did have to agree though. I wasn;t sure what he was doing either.

Clyde clearly wants to go home. Bless him. He tried. Let him go home. He would rather be playing golf.

Joey was amazing as always. I felt bad for Ian & Cheryl. He tries so hard. Billy Ray just improves every week. He needs to get out of his head & into the dance.moreless

    • Apolo Anton Ohno: It's slow and older. I'm not sure we have the maturity for the Waltz, but we're sure gonna fake it.

    • (Comments to Laila Ali after her performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: Your movements are still a little small. You've gotta work on your flexibility and opening up a little more.

    • (Comments to Apolo Anton Ohno after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: That was so romantic. Woo! Len Goodman: Learning the routine is not the end of it. It was riddled with footwork. Your head when you're in hold is supposed to be to the left. Yours was to the right.

    • (Comments to Leeza Gibbons after her performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: Not so good this week. You looked awkward on your heels. You've gotta start moving your body more. Len Goodman: Dull, dull, dull.

    • (Comments to Ian Ziering after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: You're not breathing, and that's why you get stiff and you lose your balance and your footing so often. Bruno Tonioli: You started like Mr. McDreamy, but sometime you went to Mr. McStiffy.

    • (Comments to John Ratzenberger after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: I was confused. I couldn't tell if you were being funny, or if you were really trying and it just wasn't working out so well. Len Goodman: I think you were going for humor, because you made me laugh a lot. Bruno Tonioli: Obviously the magic backfired tonight, and it turned into a curse.

    • (Comments to Cylde Drexler after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: Are you aware that there are different styles for each dance? Because it's not showing up on the floor. Len Goodman: Clyde, in my opinion, you're not even giving it your best shot. He's just walking through the dance. Bruno Tonioli: There's more romance between Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell.

    • (Comments to Billy Ray Cyrus after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: That was oddly awkward, and sexy, and hot, and strange all at once, but I loved it. Len Goodman: You did the most practicing this week of all the couples.... I can see some improvement, and I can see that you're giving it your all. Bruno Tonioli: You really went for it, like a mad bull in Pamplona.

    • (Comments to Heather Mills after her performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: This week wasn't as good. Your shoulders were up. Your neck was a little bit awkward. I think you can do better. Len Goodman: I thought overall you did a great job.

    • (Comments to Joey Fatone after his performance) Carrie Ann Inaba: You were on fire tonight! That's what a Paso Doble should be. Len Goodman: You really captured the flavor of that dance. It was the best Paso of the night by a mile. Bruno Tonioli: You were right on it.

    • (during rehearsals) Karina Smirnoff: Knees bent, knees bent! Bend your knees. Both knees are bent. Billy Ray Cyrus: Are my knees supposed to be bent? (after Karina leaves practice upset) Billy Ray Cyrus: I know that if I was like, one of the greatest dancers in the world and then all of a sudden I got Billy Ray Cyrus as my partner, I would be extremely disappointed. Karina Smirnoff: I put a lot of pressure on myself in this competition and I let it get to me. But Billy Ray and I are past that and we are ready to rock that Paso.

    • Clyde Drexler: They said we regressed, deep inside, I'm thinking, 'Hey! What's the big deal? We did fine!' Elena Grinenko: Clyde is very laid back. Like really laid back. Stop yawning! But I need to make him work harder. Clyde Drexler: Rome wasn't built overnight. How about we stop for a time out? Elena Grinenko: There's no time for a time out. Get up! Clyde Drexler: No!

    • (in confessional) Ian Ziering: It was definitely kind of frustrating, working so hard and then pulling up a bit short. I think I just need to learn from my mistakes. (during rehearsals) Ian Ziering: It's kind of hard to take Class Clown out of my DNA. Cheryl Burke: Everything about the character of the Waltz is opposite of Ian! Ian, I need more Fred Astaire and less Goofy, can you give that to me? Ian Ziering: I think this week, Class Clown is going to be replaced by classy gentleman.

    • (after Len criticizes Apolo and Julianne's Waltz) Tom Bergeron: From a British perspective, are your knickers in a twist or something?

    • Apolo Anton Ohno: The only thing I know about the Waltz is that it's slow and older - the complete opposite of what Julianne and I are. Julianne Hough: Do it, slowly, slowly, slowly. We have to feel each other's body. Apolo Anton Ohno: I feel like I'm too close to you! Julianne Hough: You're not! I'm really trying to do my best to help Apolo embrace the romantic nature of the Waltz, but because we have the brother/sister relationship, it's a little awkward. Apolo Anton Ohno: Whoa! We were nose to nose! Being the youngest couple, I'm not sure we have the maturity for the Waltz - but we're sure going to fake it!

    • (during the judges' commentary on Laila and Maksim) Bruno Tonioli: You can really knock us out, you can't cop out midway. Tom Bergeron: And she can actually knock you out! Bruno Tonioli: Yes, she can!

    • Laila Ali: I was definitely disappointed when I found out our routine was breaking the rules. Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Last week was my mistake. Everybody makes mistakes, I apologize, you know. Laila Ali: You know what, I don't like to point fingers. It's okay. We're still team members. That's what I'm saying, I want to stay friends. Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Do you see these puppy eyes? Laila Ali: And we're going to do the best we can - while following the rules!
