Stiletto's original voice on the British telecasts was an Italian accent, but was changed to a Cockney accent for American TV to prevent offending Italian-Americans. As such, a good bit of his dialogue was changed.
In this episode, for example, after Danger Mouse suffers his amnesia infliction and sees Stilleto surrendering, the following exchange took place on the original British showing:
DM: Er...how do you do, Mister Surrendered.
Stiletto: Eh? Is this a British joke, signor?
On American TV, Stiletto's line was changed to "Don't you know who I am, gov?"
