Dangerfield

Show Summary

Welcome to the Dangerfield guide at TV.com.

Set in the beautiful rural towns of Warwick and Leamington Spa, the show followed police surgeon Dr Paul Dangerfield, now relocated from London to Warwickshire following the tragic death of his wife Celia in a car crash. A single parent to teenagers Alison and Marty, Dangerfield first worked under the watchful eye of Birmingham-born DI Ken Jackson, but later years was presented with other police bosses including DS Helen Diamond and DI Frank Dagley.

It wasn't all gloom and doom for widower Dangerfield, however, as he did find time, after a suitable mourning period, to briefly romance feisty barrister Kate Durrani and on a longer-term basis, his medical colleague Dr Joanna Stevens. Following his daughter Al's marriage, Dangerfield decided to leave Warwickshire at the end of the fourth series and was replaced by his GP friend Dr Jonathan Paige whose police boss was the attractive DI Gillian Cramer.

  • What other people say about Dangerfield doesn't bring it any justice. To give it anything less than a 10 would be an outrage. What's good about it? If you need me to tell you what's good about it, it means you can't even tell the brilliance behind Dangerfmoreless
