    I have always heard this and would like to know the facts? Something about rerun pay?

    No, he was never blacklisted. After Daniel Boone ended, he just got tired of the Hollywood rat race and decided to embark upon a new career as a developer in Santa Barbara. He'd made plenty of money from his Hollywood days so he could afford this change in careers.
