This episode marked the only appearance on the series of Hercules T. Bear, an animal actor who was scheduled to become a regular on the show. Hercules was dropped when he got into a dispute with Hannibal A. Goose over airtime. To pacify the popular Hannibal, the producers dropped their plans to make Hercules a regular.
