Fowler: I've heard of a man gettin' killed for seein' too good but this is the first time I've heard of a man bein' killed for smellin' too good.
Jemima: Who needs household goods when you can have the moon and the stars livin' next door?
Daniel: Dreams are made of moonbeams, Mima. Catch enough of 'em and they'll come true.
Yadkin (about the bear he shot): By doggies, he went down like the Alleghanies sat on him.
Daniel: What swamp did you crawl out of, Fowler?
Horton (about Fowler): I needed an interpreter. His credentials are his own business.
Fowler (to Horton): This here ain't London Town, general, and them bucks ain't no tin soldier boys.
Fowler (to Horton): To an Indian, a white girl's worth her weight in gold.
Fowler (to Jemima): Don't forget, girlie, I'm the only friend that you got.
Yadkin: Dan'l, when you bite off trouble you sure do it with a mighty big appetite.
Horton: It's your country, Boone. You're welcome to it.
Rebecca (to Daniel): Next thing you know you won't be able to go deer hunting by yourself.
Jemima: If it's all the same to you I'll settle for household goods as a dowery. Them I know I'll live to enjoy.
