Stinch: Well, if it ain't Mr. Boone. It's a pleasure to see you again. Daniel: Well I'm not so sure the feeling is mutual after all the trouble you caused us the last time you were here.
Daniel (to Stinch and Coll): Make sure you don't get your hands into somebody else's pot instead of a beaver trap.
Daniel: Little Fawn, something tells me your father gave me a rough package to deliver.
Mingo: What is going on? This young lady said you tried to kill her. Daniel: You got it the other way around, Mingo. She tried to kill me.
Stinch: Seems to me some men just don't know how to handle women or maybe they ain't got my sort of personal charm.
Little Fawn (from the tree): I'm not coming down. Daniel: Well now, that's where you and I have a little difference of opinion.
Daniel: I thought you said you never broke a promise. Little Fawn: I only promised to behave myself until you got back. Daniel: Well, at least that answers my question.
Daniel (to Mingo after discovering that Little Fawn is gone): Well, you gotta admit she's a woman of her word.
Mingo (about Little Fawn): You mean we've got to go look for her? Daniel: If we did, we might find her.
Daniel: Mingo, you are a coward. Mingo: Daniel, I admit it.
Little Fawn (to Stinch and Coll): You know, with a little training, you may both prove satisfactory as butlers.
Coll: If you don't take her back, what are we gonna do with her? Daniel: You shoulda thought of that before you stole her.
