Zapotec: Now we will talk. Daniel: I reckon it's about time.

Daniel: How come you came back alive? Dull Knife: My medicine was strong.

Daniel (to Dull Knife): You seem to be takin' this real personal so I'll just warn you--don't crowd me too close.

Cincinnatus (about Daniel): Darn fool! If I had a wife as pretty as Becky I'd stay home more often.

Rebecca: I wish I could go with you. Daniel: You will someday.

Dull Knife: The gods will kill you. Daniel: I'll take my chances.

Mingo: No Indian in his right mind would come within a mile of this place. Daniel: What are you doin' here? Mingo: That's a good question.

Mingo: You're not getting superstitious on me, are you, Daniel? Daniel: Nope. Just kinda feel like I'm intrudin'.
