Nitpick: The Cherokees killed by Will Carey are said to be youths in the dialogue yet they look like 30 year old men in their scene.
Carey: A man would be a fool to walk into a Cherokee camp with anything other than an empty belly.
Cincinnatus (about the hooch): Last time it overflowed, it ate a hole through the counter.
Daniel: Israel, it's just a haircut not an operation.
Daniel: Where have you been all these years? Carey: I been east of yesterday and west of nowheres.
Daniel: To old times. Carey: Better yet, to new times.
Mingo: It's one thing to kill but another thing to butcher.
Daniel (to Mingo): No one in Boonesborough would be crazy enough to fire on the Cherokee.
Carey: This just don't make sense, Becky. All this fuss over a few nitpickin' Indians.
Mingo (to Daniel): Find the furs and you'll find your hand of death.
Jemima: Work, work, work. Seems my day never ends.
Daniel (to Carey): If it was a white man that killed them hunters I'm bound to hang him.
Daniel: You heard Will, Mingo. He didn't do it. Mingo: He says he didn't do it.
Rebecca: Find the truth, Dan. You're the only one that can.
Carey: What's this world comin' to? Daniel: It's comin' to an end, Will. Compliments of the Cherokee.
Daniel: Will never could handle his corn. It was the only way at gettin' at the truth.
Carey: We all gotta die sometime.
Cincinnatus (about Carey): A man like that needs killin'.
Cincinnatus: Don't put that man on your conscience. Daniel: He already is.
Carey (to Daniel): If you're livin' in a wolf's world, it don't pay you to turn into no rabbit.
