After All was an attempt to emulate American late night talk shows such as Letterman and Jay Leno, using humour, current events and a house band.
Danny Baker was the main host, and the house band was called The Railtown Bottlers, led by film critic Mark Kermode. The show included many parodies and humourous features such as The Parade of Tall Old People. As well as celebrity guests, members of the public who showed a particular talent were also invited onto the show.
Viewing figures were not helped by the idiosyncratic nature of the show, and it was axed after just one series. Baker went on to produce TFI Friday, a show with a similar brief but a more general appeal.
