  • not bad

    "Good"
this episode wasent that bad because theres a new character to the series and he has cool powers. the coolest powers he has was that he can summon a shawdow to defeat his enemies any time. the shawdow he has is awsome. the thing i also liked about this episode is the fight between danny and jhonny 13. it was a cool battle but the thing i dont like that much about the episode is that jhonny 13 is kinda annoying when hes talking to jazz and stuff. other then that this was a cool episode. the thing i found strange is that this is the 13th episode to the series and the name of the episode is named "13"

    i give it a 7.8/10

This epi is not one of my favorite but is was goo i like in the part that we can see that danny really care alot abaut her older sister .it remember me went i was tring to protectmy sister to of a crazy boy that had someting wired.i like to the motocicle of the ghost and his shadow ,it look creepy buy clumsy in a strange way .but it was so weak.danny need more strong enemy like vald

i like so much the part that tuker was triang to be GHOTIC that was strange because he is a rat that love and is obsesionat with that compiute and technology.he look so funny went sam try to put a tatoo and stuff like that .and tuker get mad in the end he deside to still be a nerd and slave of the compiuters and tecnology. it was a good epi but is was to al ittle strang but in general it was funny and it just a other epi of danny fenton.
  • Jazz falls for Johnny 13, a ghost who doesn't seem to have Jazz's best interests at heart.

I actually liked this episode and is very disappointed at what some of the users have to say. I don't care too much for Johnny 13, but I really like his shadow. That thing is really cool. I loved the beginning of this episode. I thought it was funny when Danny complains about all the ghosts roaming around the city, and then the scene switches to the Fenton's basement where Jack is the one letting all of the ghosts out of the Ghost Zone. I also enjoyed the parts where Danny is acting and talking exactly like his parents. It was both funny and sort of disturbing (lol).
  • A ghost named Jonny 13 is trying to use Jazz has the host for his girlfriend.Danny has to find a way to stop him and save his sister.

    Not the best episode,but alright.

A ghost name Jonny 13 has to get some girl to wear his girlfriend's clothes so she can take over her body.Jonny decides to use Jazz.Danny knows about Jonny's ghostly origins and of course spies on them to protect her.Jazz falls for him more and more she wears more of his girl's stuff and makes herself into a host.Jack and Maddie don't approve of him and actually wants Danny to spy on them.Jonny 13's shadow is alive and he can use it as a weapon. His Shadow is fighting Danny while he gets closer to Jazz.Jazz realizes he is a creep when he picks on her little bro and Danny defeats both Shadow and Jonny and sends them back to the Ghost Zone.Sub plot is Tucker trying to get a new image after he is branded Bad Luck Tuck.Sam helps him to figure out there was nothing wrong with his old image.

Not the best episode while it develops more on Danny and Jazz's relationship,Jonny 13 is simpley not a good villain and is very weak with out his Shadow.A funny note is that Danny realize how much he acts like his dad Jack and freaks out.
  • not very interesting...it's okay.

    Um, this episode was alright.

I didn't really like it. So there was like a bad luck ghost that used Jazz to get his gf out of the ghost zone. Um, not so interesting. it was kinda cool how danny was trying to help his sister, but she had to be stupid and be like "danny, you're just like mom and dad!" and so yeah. it was all her own fault.

yep! anyway, i thought this ep. was kinda boring. um, yea. i just didn't like it. the series is good and all, but yea, i just didn't like this episode.

    'Nuff said.
  • The show did a good job in showing how a rivalring brother can quickly change to protective when he feels that his sister is in danger..

Johnny 13 is my favorite character in the Danny Phantom. I know that he may not be the most powerful character on the show, I find his power and the personality the coolest of all the antagonists on the series, and would not really like him in any other way; looks, personality, or power wise. What did bother me about this episode, however, was that it showed Johnny to be like all other villians, who are usually motivated by power; Johnny, however, did everything for Kitty.
  • A teenage ghost named Johnny 13 starts dating Jazz in a plot to reform his girlfriend, Kitty.

    8.5
    "Great"
A teenage ghost couple, Johnny 13 and Kitty, are separated when Kitty’s form is split between the real world and the Ghost Zone. When she gives Johnny her stuff containing her own energy, he has to get another girl to wear them so Kitty can reform around her. But the first girl Johnny sees in the real world is Jazz! After saving her from being hit by a roller coaster, Jazz is grateful. When she starts wearing Kitty’s stuff, she begins to fall for him, and Danny doesn’t like it. When Johnny wants Jazz to go steady with him, Danny has to get his sister to see sense before Kitty can reform around her.

I really liked this one! This was definitely a funny and interesting episode I would like to watch again.

The opener was done rather well. The fact that Danny kept on seeing ghosts left and right was very interesting, and I happened to like the urgency in Sam’s voice when she called him. I found it funny when Tucker dropped all his technology. Good foreshadowing for the sub-plot of the episode. As for the lab scene, I didn’t like that Jack kept pushing the button over and over that much. I know he’s goofy, but pushing the button that much seemed pointless, and all the ghosts lining up in the Ghost Zone was pretty FOP. But I enjoyed that shot of Ember, and the short scene with Johnny and Kitty helped set the tone very nicely, and I also liked Jazz’s trying to cover for Danny when Jack asked where he was.

I really liked seeing the brother/sister bonding in this episode. For the most part, it was done in the opposite way of MBK, with Danny meddling in on Jazz and trying to do what’s best for her, instead of Jazz’s similar antics in MBK. Any episode, I believe, that has a sibling bond like this, is definitely a special one. That’s one reason why I love this show so much, especially with how original they have the older sister be.

But apart from the brother/sister bonding, I also thought the scenes where Danny thought he was becoming like his parents were hilarious. This is basically a sign that Danny is starting to mature. And he’s probably bound to be a little freaked by it. Basically, any scene with Danny, Jack, and Maddie in this episode was a funny thing to see, especially when they encouraged Danny that he was spying on Jazz and when they kept saying things simultaneously.

I also enjoyed the sub-plot where Tucker was trying to find his “thing.” This also shows us that Sam knows her best friends very well. Her role of pretending to want Tucker to go Goth was very funny. And I liked that Tucker and Sam gave Danny a hand in eliminating Shadow.

Speaking of Shadow, along with Johnny and Kitty, they were quite the interesting villains. And you could definitely sense the threat of the plan they had. There was the possibility Jazz could be trapped in the Ghost Zone. But I found it somewhat disappointing that Johnny pretty much wanted to ride away after Shadow disappeared in the final fight. I found Shadow slightly more dangerous than Johnny, since he was able to cause more destruction, even though Johnny was the one who basically arranged the plot.

I thought the ending was done nicely. Jazz’s little saying of, “I love you too,” was sweet as well as her saying of, “But you told me first,” just before that. But the fact that Dash decided to go back to making fun of Danny because of the jumpsuit wasn’t that great. But the final line where Danny asked if he could borrow Tucker’s PDA was pretty funny, and I at least got the little chuckle I needed at the end, something that the previous week’s FN didn’t give me.

Honestly, there isn’t a lot I can say about 13. Just that the characters were played out nicely, the action was decent, and I give 13 a score of 8.5/10.
  • this was a good episode but also a very strange one.

I say this because as you all know this episode is called 13. So why would they make this the fourteenth episode? To me that is very strange. It just doesn\'t make sense to me how they would make an episode called 13 the fourteenth episode. I never realized this at all until they showed it being number 14. However despite this I still loved this episode. But as far as villains go I think that johnny 13 is probably the second weakest villain, next to the box ghost who is the weakest, but the shadow that johnny had definitly makes up for his weakness.
  • Side story more amusing than the plot.

Well, what can I say. The actual plot about Johnny trying to take over Jazz so his girlfriend could enter the human world wasn\'t that spectacular. However, the whole image story was hilarious. It was fun watching Danny mimick his parents and Tucker having issues about his image. Not to mention, that he's never looked funnier as a goth. So it was good, but not great.
  • It wasn\'t the best but special. Read to why I think so.

Danny tries to protect Jazz from her boyfriend. Even though he is younger he still is watching out for his big sis. She gets mad of course. But want\'s Danny is able to stop Johnny she is glad he was being overprotective. Johnny was sort of controlling her getting her to wear Kitty his girlfriend from the ghost zone\'s) stuff. Once Jazz was wearing all the apparel ring, scarf, coat the two girls would switch places. Johnny’s shadow was battling Danny so Johnny could go ahead with the plan and Danny wouldn’t get in the way. Tucker goes from techno geek to bad luck Tuck after he gets teased for being techno geek then something bad happens. He then goes to Goth but a call for help from Danny suddenly reverts him back to Techno geek and he uses technology to help Danny defeat Johnny Shadow and Kitty.
  • a new ghost named Jhonny 13 is known for causing bad luck and he's come to Amity Park. He's decided that Jazz would be the victim of his girlfriend so that he can be with someone. She's under a spell and Danny must stop it, but bad luck is there.

Since when did the love story involved Jazz? Oh well, still a good episode. It was funny how Tucker tried to be someone other then himself. There is no way he can go Goth. That was hilarious with the clothing and makeup. I wondered what he would've looked like with that piercing for a ring. Not for his ears! That whole part kept me entertained. This time the action invoving Danny wasn't as great as past episodes since he didn't really do much. It was mostly about Jazz, but at least Danny got some involvement. What should Tucker be: Techno-geek, goth, or bad-luck-Tuck? Tucker was hilarious in this ep. Very funny.
  • It was'nt my fave episode but it was'nt boaring.

I liked it. Had a new villan and a little romance and too much of jazz. I think we learned more about Jazz but way too much of her. But this episode was ok could have been better. But it was cool. But like I said in the future not that much of Jazz
  • Episode 14 - 13 - My review

It’s a busy night for Danny because he seems to be fighting all the ghosts, but they seem to still appear out of no where. We find out that Jack is pushing the Genetic Lock of the portal, making it open and close, releasing ghosts, while he, Maddie and Jazz have their back turned towards the portal. On the other side of the portal, there seems to be a long line of ghosts waiting to go to the other side, including Johnny 13 and his girlfriend Kitty. Johnny 13 uses his shadow to escape the ghost world, but Kitty cannot seem to maintain her form at the crossing. She gives Johnny some of her clothing and tells him to put it on a girl in the real world, so that she can transform herself to the girl’s body using the energy from the clothes. Johnny escapes through the portal and sees Jazz as the perfect specimen. Meanwhile, Danny feels he has almost finished his work for the night when he sees Johnny speeding down the street. He tries to stop him, but Johnny’s shadow starts fighting Danny instead. While they are fighting, the thermos falls and breaks, releasing all the ghosts that Danny captured that night and letting Johnny escape.

Later, Danny, Sam and Tucker go to the carnival and Danny tells them about Johnny and his shadow. Tucker is frustrated with everyone referring to him as ‘Techno Geek'. Jazz is also at the carnival and Johnny sees her. He thinks of a plan to make Jazz like him, and tells Shadow to do his job. After Shadow creates a distraction and tries to kill a couple of kids and Jazz, Danny manages to rescue the kids, but before he can get to Jazz, Johnny saves her. Jazz takes an instant liking to Johnny, even though Danny knows he’s trouble. Johnny gives Jazz Kitty’s clothing, and every time Jazz wears it, she starts to like Johnny more. Danny tries to stop them from getting together on every occasion (like when he barges in on them when they are about to have their first kiss). Danny realizes that he is turning more and more into his father by protecting Jazz and finds it creepy. Tucker gets a reputation of ‘Bad Luck Tuck’ after a series of bad incidents start happening around him (mainly because of Shadow’s work). Sam tells Tucker to re-change his image into a Goth look like hers, while Danny tries to fight the shadow once again.

Will Danny be able to stop Johnny in time from destroying Jazz and try to fight off his shadow?

This episode isn’t one of my favorites, but I definitely think it is above average compared to other Danny Phantom episodes. We finally see Jazz’s image in a new romantic way, even if she is being brainwashed into it. Johnny’s shadow proved a worthy opponent to Danny, while Tucker changing his looks to match Sam’s was humorous. Other than that, this episode was good, but not that great.
  • 13 is not an unlucky episode

13 is suppose to be a unlucky number but it did this one justice, Johnny 13 is a pretty cool character, I liked how Danny was on track with his parents even though it was a little wierd it was funny, Jazz was also great and of course she didn't admit she was wrong about Johnny since she never admits that she is wrong, even thogh sometimes she is, its nice to see that Jazz makes mistakes like everyone else.

Personally, I liked this episode. It showed that Jack and Maddie do pay attention to other things besides ghost. Namely: Their daughter. Danny is also portrayed as being overprotective in the episode, not just his parents. I did feel sorry for Jack because he didn't get a change to use the "Fenton Anti-Creep Stick".
