If Danny Phantom WERE to come back...

If he came back, would it be the same? (as good)

If there's one exception, why can't it have more? Disney could work four seasons of a series about a teenager whose heroic career is not a secret from anyone.

I'm really sorry, I know you'll hate me, but I'm about to rant. Or blather, whatever you want to call it.

WHY did Nick cancel Danny Phantom when it is so popular.
WHY did Nick cancel Danny Phantom when there is SO MUCH MONEY that could be made from it?
WHY are they ignoring their own viewers, the ones that keep them on the air?!
Apart from Danny Phantom, Avatar and *cringes* Spongebob, WHAT is holding them together?
WILL it ever sink in to Nick that they're going to lose a heck of a lot of viewers by canceling this.

But the real question is; ARE the people from Nick who cancelled Danny Phantom COMPLETELY sane? I hate to say this, but you've got to be a bit thick to not notice how popular Danny Phantom is! And why they cancelled it in the first place is beyond EVERYONE! You'd think the New York Rallies would convince them, but noooooo! *gets so angry that she walks up to Nick headquarters and starts ranting at the people who cancelled Danny for three days straight*

There's also FOP! If Timmy, Cozmo and Wanda came back, so can Danny, Tucker, and Sam!

I actually had an Idea about New episodes of Danny Phantom where It's a year after Phantom Planet:

Jazz has a boy freind who is going to propose to her, Danny has recently broke up with Sam, who's parents are going to send her to a boarding school, Danny is still fighting ghosts, with the help of Jack and Madi (although sometimes Danny fells they are more of a hinderance!) Tucker is trying to create his own bussiness that designs websites. In the first few episodes Vlad comes back and to get his life as a famouse millionaire, He tries to erase the memories of the world. Danny, Tucker, Sam, Jack, Madi, and a new character I made up try to stop him, but not befor he zaps most of the people. So that makes the general public unaware of the ghost thing, but Danny's parents still know, (because i think it horrible that he had to keep something that big from his parnts)

They could also make betweenisodes. (episodes that happen between existing episodes.

well i could imagine them halving half of the 4th esason with everyone knowing and then maybe erasing everyone's mind later. i dunno. oh and i heard from someone journal who went to nickelodeon studios and talked with some of the people there and asked if Danny phantom was over and they said its on a break so technically its on a undecided hiatus.

Danny could steal the Guys in White's pen-thingy that erases peoples mind and broadcast the erasing-of-mind on national television. Unfortuantly, not everyone will be watching national television at the same time unless it involves like, American/Canadian/whatever other idols Idol, which is wayyyy overrated. Unless Will Smith decided to conquer all minds and atempt to erase thier memories. I'd leave the fate of DP in Will Smith's hands. Ahhh. I need to stop going on DP forums they're frying my imagination. RAINBOWS!

Well, if they really erase people's minds about it, I hope Danny's parents and Valerie still remember.

That's 'cause Kim Possible is such a glory-whore. At least Danny likes having a way to relax when the fame of Danny Phantom gets too overwhelming. "Forever Phantom" proved that Danny appreciated having a secret identity to hide under.

The only reason why the Fantastic 4 get to not have secret identities is because their achievements were well-known to the world long before the cosmic storm hit them. However, when the secret identity is that of a seemingly weak and nonimportant character, it becomes very important, especially in regards to close friends and family. Take a look at Spider-Man. He revealed his secret identity, and his life went straight to hell as a result (literally, when you take that Mephisto incident into account).

Danny needs his secret identity, to protect the world, his family, and mostly himself. Which is why "Phantom Planet" pretty much destroyed any chance of a Season 4. It destroyed the one thing that Danny needs most: animosity (sp?)

Honestly, I think the only reason they had Danny's secret exposed is because the producers, for some weird reason, didn't believe Season 4 to have that much of a chance in the first place. And don't talk about Kim Possible that way. Her fame makes people accept her help so she usually won't have to break in places other than the bad guy's lairs. And I think it'll be a matter of adjustment for Danny until they get used to the idea. Take a look at Kim Possible. You don't see crazed fans running after her.

You know what my problem is with KP? She got everything on a silver platter. Successful parents, superloyal friends, naturally athlectic and intelligent, villains who aren't quite in the intellectual capability to pose a consistant threat (Shego notwithstanding, though she's more like a Vegeta-esque rival). It's so boring to see her get her fame without so much as a single bump along the way.

Danny had to work hard at his superheroics to get where he is today, and my respect for him is far greater than Kim's, who's never had any real challenge in her life. I respect the working-class superhero.

It's not that she got everything on a silver platter. It's that she was already estabilished as a hero when the series began. Without 'A Sitch in Time'[sp?] we would never know how she started her career. When Danny Phantom started, our ghost hero was still wondering what to do with his powers. I would love to see KP episodes from when Kim rescued Mr. Paisley to when she finally managed to become famous.

OK people, Get off the KP subject. there is another Super hero that goes around with no secret Identity: El Tigre. that's a pretty good show and Manny does fine with no secret id, and he doesn't get everything

You make a very good point. I mean, Manny's identity is that everyone knows it, but it's because of his bloodline, so he passes as a good hero. Now, as for Danny.... He's the best! If this show were to come back, I'd watch every new episode anyway I can and I really hope it's coming back! Look at Timmy, he came back. If the Fairly Oddparents can come back, so can Danny. LONG LIVE THE PHANTOM!

El Tigre is just a silly kids show, not as serious as DP is.

I know, but that's what makes it funny, just like The Fairly Oddparents. Danny Phantom is a serious show, and it can be really funny, too!
