Attack of the Killer Garage Sale." The animatronic presentation of the jock snapping his towel at the nerd seems to be based on the article, "Tips for Snapping Towels," and Dash's twenty minute presentation of the horrors of athlete's foot seems to be based on the article, "Athlete's Foot: Friend or Foe."

Lucky in Love") makes a cameo in this episode. In the first sequence where all the ghostly objects turn back to normal after Danny puts the Soul Shredder in the pumpkin, Star can be seen screaming in terror at a blue fish ghost, which then turns back into a mailbox.
