  • Yay, a new episode.

I love Danny Phantom and this episode was no different when I saw it. The map is a good thing to have and be able to use. But at the same time it can weald great powers and make the possesses head big. I commend Danny and his friends Sam and Tucker for making their own map. Even if it does need work. The new ghost sounds interesting. He seems like a nice and good ghost. He could be helpful in the future. Apparently Danny Phantom gets icy ghost powers. I wonder what those will be like. Oh and does Vlad have to get in the middle of everything, and want everything?
  • This is a great example of why I watch this amazing show.

Well first off we learned a lot about the ghost zone and stuff. We learned that it can take you to different times on Earth, which was pretty freaking cool. I lvoed how they were chasing Vlad through the diferent time eras. The ninja part was awesome! I also loved the part with the kid who was afraid of the ghosts under his bed, and then Danny came up through it and scared them to death lol. The blood blossom part was pretty neat too. The infi-map was also pretty cool, and it's gonna help them out in later episodes. And now we finally got to meet Frostbite. I betcha a lot of little kids were confusedwhen they saw this episode. Because wealready met Frostbite in Urban Jungle, which aired before this, but here they are acting like he's a brand new character. Plus they still didn't air Eye for and Eye yet, so tons of kids that don't go online are probably wondering how he became the mayor. When I saw Urban Jungle I was prepared for that, because I knew i was airing out of order. Howver it was still pretty weird. Well anyway, this is a really great episode, I wish it would have been aired in order but we can't help it when Nickelodeon is pulling the strings. Oh well.
  • Danny inadvertedly obtains the infi-map (a map of the ghost zone) which Vlad steals and uses as a means to find his destiny. Can Danny follow him through time and stop him before he rules the world?

This has got to be one of the best episodes of the third season! Danny and Vlad are my favorite characters and seeing them chase each other through time trying to obtain the Infi-map was great. It's funny how those bear/ghost things worship Danny because he trapped the Ghost King in the Sarcophagus of Forever Sleep. The drawings on the walls of the ice caves were hilarious! They almost look as bad as my drawings of Danny. I can't believe Vlad spies on the Fenton family. He has hidden cameras all over their house and watches them on his TV. My absolute favorite scene was the scene where Vlad and Danny were sword fighting. That is one of the best fighting scenes ever in this series! I especially like Danny in the ninja outfit. He looked really hot! His saying was hot too: "There is still one more you must vanquish." I love the way he said that! Another favorite scene of mine was when Danny and Vlad were in the air fighting in Ancient Rome. That was another good fighting scene, but not as good as the sword fight. Danny looked good in the gladiator outfit too. I also liked the scenes when Danny scared the little boy and his mother by springing up in front of them when they were talking about ghosts and the scene when Danny turned invisible and got into the picture of the Wright Brothers and their airplane. The ending was funny too. Vlad was turned to ice by Frostbite and his friends and the people of Amity Park thought it was a statue of Vlad - not the real thing. It was funny how the bird ending up crapping on him.
  • Good intro to the new season.

I really liked this episode of Danny Phantom. It's clever and has really funny quotes in it like "The tp had my fourtune on it!" and when vlad says to Danny, "Everywhere I turn, you are there! It's like having ecto-plasmic gum on my shoe." It was also revealing when Frostbite said that Danny had more in common with them than he knew. If Urban Jungal hadn't aired first, (grrr) that would have been very intresting to know. My favorite part in this episode is when Danny goes Ninga. I love the voice he uses and the costume he wears.. too bad it was only for like 10 seconds! So, watch this one! You will like it!
  • While lost in The Ghost Zone, Danny stumbles upon a civilisation hailing him as their saviour. They provide him with a magical map home - but it falls into the hands of Vlad Plasmius.

    "Superb"
The second episode of Season 3, "Infinite Realms" finds Danny and friends lost in The Ghost Zone. They stumble upon a civilisation - the "Far Frozen," ruled by Frostbite. As Danny defeated Pariah, the Far Frozen hail him as the "Great One." They provide him with the Infi-Map, a magical device that will take him wherever he thinks to go. Unfortunately, Vlad Plasmius knows the legends of the Infi-Map; and he's able to obtain it.

After months without any DP, I'd pretty much welcome any episode - but this first glimpse in months is excellent!

Although it's aired out of order - the first episode of the season has yet to be seen and UJ has already aired - it was fairly easy to find my way through the story (then again, I'd read a description of the first episode). The plot was fairly well-paced and remained entertaining throughout, and did a fine job setting up various characters.

It's known from "Urban Jungle" that Frostbite is a friend of Danny's whom he had met before - this episode is their meeting. And it makes me wish that the episodes had been aired in order, as IR does a very good job setting up their relationship and portraying the idea that Frostbite and his people revere Danny and that Danny likes them. There's even a slight bit of foreshadowing towards UJ at the end. And the fact that it manages to do this with Frostbite having very limited screentime is a testament to the writing of this episode.

Danny himself is still Danny. Several writers left the series before the third season, but the characters have remained constant. It was very comforting for me to see that the personalities of all the mains seemed the same for the most part (more on this later). Danny's still the hero with some teenager still in him, Tuck's still goofy and technology-obsessed (and gets the two best jokes in the episode), and Sam's still an activist who's aware of ghostly things. And as a trio, they still work well together. For the most part, they stayed true to themselves too; I can't recall an instance of plot or gags getting in the way of who these characters are, which was very nice.

Having said that about the trio, Vlad did seem different here. For one thing, he's the mayor of Amity Park (another sign that Nick should mind the continuity of this series). He also finally got a cat, named "Maddie" of course. And he's growing restless and hungry for power - something that hasn't really been seen a lot in him. He chased after Pariah's relics and stole the Crown of Fire (a point still unresolved), but he's largely been a personal villain for Danny. It was a bit odd seeing him so hungry for power and so focused in on that one thing, and yet it didn't seem out-of-character. It seemed another side to Plasmius, one less intriguing than the chess master aiming to gain a wife and son, but still a worthy villain...hmm...

The sequences set throughout history were wonderful. The Salem scene in particular had a nice "dark" vibe, and the stuff in China was a lot of fun for me, being so interested in the Far East. And I love sword fights, so it was fun for me on that level. The designs of each sequence were beautiful, and each one "popped" in its own way. Some of the humour in those scenes was fantastic as well, especially the "Roosevelt" line and Danny's accent when he dressed as a warrior. I only wish that more was done with those scenes.

The animation and music were, once again, excellent. "Reality Trip" aside, I can't recall any one instance since "The Ultimate Enemy" where I've felt that those two areas weren't up to par.

In fact, the only thing that I didn't like in this episode was the bathroom humour at the end with Tucker. Given that he'd gotten such great lines in the first half ("geometry humour" and fantastic PDA gag), it seemed a bit of a let-down, though it didn't feel out-of-character given the circumstances.

9 out of 10; an excellent way to be re-introduced to DP!
  • Infinite Realms has been done before, and with better dialouge too.

Now, many of you are aware that I am excited to see new Danny Phantom episodes. It's one of my favorite series (not to mention the one that I wrote my first fan fiction for).

That makes the bad review I'm about to give of the season opener all that much harder.

In the new episode “Infinite Realms”, Danny and co get hopelessly lost in the Ghost Zone. They end up in an ice realm where they get into a battle with Frostbite. Of course, if you saw Urban Jungle, which aired in the US long before this, all the tension of the moment was ruined. Thanks a lot Nick programmers. Speaking of which, why can't the programmers just play Eye for a Eye first like they're supposed to?

So as I was saying, Danny learns that Frostbite has an ice dagger lodged in his back and once it's removed, Frostbite turns out to be a really nice guy. In fact, his people practically worship Danny as “the savior of the Ghost Zone”. Now, this all seemed kinda rushed, especially since Frostbite is an important character. I know the writers wanted to check out all these realms and stuff, but the really could have skipped one to give this a bit more time. While I love Danny's outfit in the Ming dynasty, the purpose of that scene just seemed to be to kill some episode time and have some cool fighting.

Speaking of going through different times, that idea of extremely cliché in of it's self. There had to be a better way to go with this than have the heroes traveling through time and space in hat thing. How about some different dimensions altogether (spoof crossovers anyone?). We already had a back in time/realm with a different time style episode anyways, remember? In fact, we've had 2, and both “Beauty Marked” and “Masters of All Time” were better episodes than this.

Unfortunately, I can't even say the writing made up for the cliché premise. The dialog was even more a downfall than the actual story. It was just REALLY poorly written. It failed to come to life to me. It didn't feel real. It was just a bunch of bad puns for the good guys, and Vlad's lines were just horrible on the most part (although they were pretty good early in the episode.)

Speaking of puns, this is a part I'm torn on. Some parts were funny (Vlad getting a cat is AWESOME), but there were also a lot of cases of the writers taking the lower road with potty humor, cliché puns that attract only the younger age demographic in my opinion, and a bunch of mindless fighting.

So, in closing, some parts of the episode were funny, and there was some kick butt action, and thank goodness it actually was setting up for something, but it still didn't give me the wow factor at all. I really hope this isn't an example of what the entire season's quality is. If it is, I can't say I have any regrets about DP ending so soon. Sorry, but that's my honest opinion. I really hope this show isn't jumping the shark on us. :(
  • This eppi was pretty good, better than I expected anyways!

This eppi was really cool. Danny, Sam and Tucker get lost in the ghost zone and they find a new ally, Frostbite. My favorite part was when Sam said: A boy and his snow monster. This was when Frostbite was thanking Danny for getting the icicle out of his neck.... or back? Then Tuck says: Is there no greater love to be found? I was laughing so hard when I read that! It was really hilarious! If you didn't watch it, then you should. I live in America and I saw all the eppis on the internet! Yay! Then I hated it when Vlad almost like..... killed Danny, but Tuck had to eat veggies to save him. This eppi was funny and you would definetly like it.
  • After I watched this episode, I eagerly await for what else comes in Season 3!

OMG! This will be one of my favorite episodes! The plot was great! The first part of getting lost in the Ghost Zone, then getting the infi-map and traveling all the realms in the ghost zone! HA! Vlad actually took Danny's advice and got a cat named Maddie and Vlad spying on the Fentons *gasp*

My favorite part of the whole episode was when Danny was in that Ninja costume. I thought he looked really good in that.

The action was really great! Danny and Vlad were fighting loads!

Then I liked the ending with Frozen Vlad! Very good episode!
  • OMG! This episode rocked!

Okay, this is probably my favorite of all the new epsiodes this seasons for several reasons.

There is drama, great action seguences, time travel, realm travel, Frostbite (i liked him in UJ), The Blood blosoms, Maddie the cat, and of course Danny dressed as a ninja!

We formally meet Frostbite, and right off the bat (minus the whole fighting, snarling, and almost killing Danny) he seems real nice, friendsly, and helpful. Vlad has a cat. And he named it Madiie! Ha, that is so funnym and somehow very disturbing...

The time traveling sequences were awesome:

Danny scares a child for life,

    Danny is tortured with flowers,

    Danny fights lions,

    Danny dresses as a Ninja,

Danny helps the Wright Brothers fly the first air plane!

    Favorite line:

"There is still one more you must vanguish!"
  • I loved all the time traveling!

This episode was phantastic! The main reason I liked it was for Ninja Danny! (Is it me, or does Danny look amazing in ANY outfit?) Not to mention all the action and adventure! Plus, I really enjoy watching time traveling. And hahahaha Vlad got a cat! I knew he'd take Danny's advice all along! I also liked how Danny's eventual returning to visit Frostbite was forshadowed here. Frostbite's a great ally and it's so cool how he and his people can predict the future. At last, Danny gets credited for saving the ghost zone from the Ghost King Pariah Dark! Two thumbs up!

I guess it's ok but I expect better from Danny Phantom. This is a very random episode with entirely to much attempted to be crammed into one eppisode. What saved it from total failure? Vlad Plasmious (of course)! Although Vlad lost where he should have won his involvement in the episode makes it interesting. Vlad's take-over-the-world style enthusiasm breathes life into the otherwise boring episode. We do meet Frostbite for the "first time" in this episode. It's an alright episode but definitely not why I watch the series. A few more villans and more organization would be appreciate. An ok episode.
  • Danny, Sam, and Tucker get lost in the ghostzone, Danny tries another place and stumples on a Ice world, where they meet a Yeti-Ghost; Frostbite....

    9.3
    "Superb"
Frostbite immediatly attack Danny, but after a hard fight, Danny discovers he is being annoyed by a ice chunk in his back, which caused him to get so out of control; Danny gets to meet the Yeti-people...

They serve him for freeing the ghostzone from Phariah Dark, and give Danny a map of the ghostzone which allows Danny to teleport to the place they want, even to go back into time, via a portal within the ghostzone.

After Vlad finds out, he steals the map and tries to destroy Danny, but fails, Sam, Tucker and Danny are able to direct Vlad right into the Yeti-lands, where Frostbite and his loyal Yeti-people beat Vlad up, whereafter Danny hands the Infi-Map back to Frostbite, while having a new ally(Which does come in handy at the episode Urban Jungle:p ).

The episode ends in a scene where 'Mayor' Vlad gets transported to Amity Park within a layer of ice:)

A episode that will do in my opinion, with some nice scenes and puns;)

It all starts out as Danny, Sam and Tucker are in the Ghost Zone (lost). Tucker starts to complain about how hungry he is while Sam is sort of pissed at Danny since they can't find the way to get back home. So then Tucker tells Sam that if he didn't make it back (since he was so hungry) to tell his PDA that he loved her and that his cellphone never meant anything to him. Later Danny, Sam and Tucker start to go through a cave full of ice and they crash.

Then suddenly Frostbite comes out all angry and attacking Danny. The fight ends when Danny gets rid of a piece of ice that was hurting Frostbite in the neck. So then Frostbite is really happy and suddenly realizes that it was Danny. Frostbite offers to help Danny and his servants "Tucker and Sam". So later Frostbite is showing Danny, Sam and Tucker a cave that is full of drawings of Danny (something that danny is very pleased about). Danny then tells Frostbite that they need to get back home. So then Frostbite shows them the map (of all the ghost zone and all of its secrets portals). Danny, Sam and Tucker get hold of the map as it flies them back home. From his mansion, Vlad is spying on Danny as they are in his dad's lab. He hears about the map and decides to follow them. Once they go back into the Ghost Zone, Danny just can't help but to go in to one of the portal and so they all go in. They find themselves in Salem where they are about to burn a "witch". Sam goes out and starts to yell at the people and she finds herself in the trap. They all start to say that she's (Sam) a witch and they tie her up, ready to burn her. Vlad is there leading them on to burn her. So then Danny comes out to rescue her, but his father comes out (as a ghost catcher). And spreads roses around Sam which won't allow Danny to go in and rescue her. Vlad then takes Danny and throws him inside the circle and you can see that Danny is in a lot of pain. Sam yells at Tucker to get Danny out of the circle. Vlad takes this to his advantage and steals the map from Tucker. Although Danny is out of the circle, his still screaming in pain. Sam yells at Tucker to eat the roses as to save Danny. (This is where he eats vegetables for the first time in his life).

So after that they get out of Salem and back in to the Ghost Zone trying to retrieve the map. Sam says something about how Tucker's stomach might react to eating a vegetable for the first time in his life. Then starts to say that he needs to go to a bathroom.

They keep chasing Vlad around many places until Vlad is taken by the map to where Frostbite and his people live. There they fight Vlad and they freeze him. So then Danny, Sam and Tucker leave to go back home. One of Frostbite's people asks Frostbite if they will ever see Danny again. Frostbite said that they will since Danny has more in common with them than he thinks. This is reffering to danny's ice powers which we see in Urban Jungle.

So then back at Amity Park they show a "statue" of Vlad to the whole city. The statue is actually Vlad frozen. Then Tucker runs off to the bathroom again since he ate the vegetables.

and that's it. I'm sorry if it doesn't make that much sense. I will post it as the recap. The reason i saw this episode is since i live in Mexico and they aired it in Latin America along with the Eye for Eye episode. It was a special because of Nick's Birthday here.
  • I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS!!!

This is obviously gonna be about when Danny meet\'s Frostbit for the first time. I think he\'ll be the one to give Danny the map, which Vlad steals later on. I think Danny and his friends get lost somewhere in the ghost zone and then runs into a frozen realm of some sort. He runs into some Yetti\'s. At first he thinks they\'re gonna attack him, then when he tells them his name, they start treating him like a king yada yada yada. Then, Frostbite wants to do something to thank him for stopping Lord Paria Dark. Danny asks him to fix the Spectra Speeder, which I\'m guessing got recked when they landed in this realm and find his way out. Frostbite gives him an infident map, which can take you anywhere. Danny gets out with his friends. Vlad goes to the ghost zone to Frostbite, since he once had it and tries to look for it. Although, one of the Yetti\'s tell him that Danny has it and Vlad goes to Fenton Works and steals it. That, or Vlad steals it while Frostbit is fixing the Spectra Speeder, don\'t know. Either way, I can\'t wait till it comes.
