This is a great episode if you love Sailor Moon (well, DP is a good show if you're a Sailor Moon fan), with the whole "cousin" thing, if you get the reference. Danni's adorable, and she looks more like 10 than 12. She turned good at the end, which was good, and she's done by none other by Annasophia Robb of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

Many people thought Danny was a jerk in this episode, but they shouldn't be so harsh. He's just a shy, clumsy kid who needs to save earth from ghosts. He was so cute at the end thanking his friends. I loved Sam's comment on the Booooo-merang.

Wow, the plot, the new caracters, the script, it's PERFECT! It's one of the best and I love re-watching this episode. I represent the fan club in my town, and up there with the TV movies is this episode. It's so cool! With the addition of Danielle/Dani Phantom, the series just got better. It was fun to see her return later, and it went well with the fan club too. So, great job for the creators of Danny Phantom. You are so cool for creating this episode. But, you are not forgiven for CANCELLING THE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, props for this episode. Whoo-Hoo!

Yes Dani Phantom! a clone of Danny and a father to Vlad Plasmius (ex-Father) The beginning of this episode shows Danny being selfish and when he gets to his room that's where he met Danni "Your cousin once removed" and when a ghost attacks we find out that she's half ghost too! and when they chase another ghost Danny runs up to Vlad and was shocked that Dani works for Vlad and treating her as a daughter! but really she was just using him. When Dani realizes this she frees danny and Danny uses his Ghost Wail to destroy Vlad's Lab and we also get to see vlad's weird obsession with Maddie. at the end Sam and Tucker were more appreciated by Danny and Danny helps him not to get in trouble. I like the character of Dani! and how she's designed this episode is a MUST see! obviously m favorite episode in season 2

I like the character of Dani Phantom. She is very cute. I would like to see her again! Dani Phantom introduced herself as Danny Phantom's cousin. I liked Dani or Danielle Phantom whether she is in human form or ghost form. If Nickelodeon will make season 4 of Danny Phantom, I would like to see her again and introduce her to the Fentons and will help Danny Phantom in fighting ghosts. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I also like her to save the world like Danny Phantom

Vlad studies videos of Danny Phantom recorded from cameras he placed inside the weaponry/suit he gave Valerie months back and finds it is not possible to copy Danny completely unless he has his mid-morph transformation. Three containment chambers behind him open, each with three different ghosts: one wearing a bedsheet, one looking like a grey Hulk, and the other a small green blob. He sends them all to find Danny before ordering his computer, a program of Maddie, to insult Jack.



Sam and Tucker are at a mini-golf course where Sam tries to hit the golf ball in the windmill but fails. As Tucker moves in for a score, he hits it 5 times only for it to go intangible every time, a small prank pulled by Danny. He appears late, having overslept, a gesture that annoys his friends who confess his recent treatment of the two is becoming more like sidekicks than friends. Danny apologizes at the same time the bedsheet ghost appears. He does battle, revealing the ghost behind the bedsheet, a skeleton with no waist-down. He tries to make Danny "change back", but Danny ends up blasting it away with a very powerful Ghost Ray, destroying the windmill course with it. He quickly flies away, leaving the manager to blame Sam and Tucker.



Danny keeps apologizing over on his cellphone back in the Fenton household for leaving (stating he couldn't be seen in his state), but Tucker and Sam, who have to build the entire windmill golf course from scratch, are still angry at his abandonment. Entering his room, he meets a 12-year-old girl who claims to be his third cousin once removed, Danielle, lying on his bed reading his comic books. After getting her something to eat and discovering that she has many of the same interests as Danny, he still remains suspicious of her motives and background, so he tries to take her downstairs to tell his parents about her, but she stubbornly runs back into his room. Danny chases back after her, only to find her gone. He goes ghost and leaves outside only for the Hulk-Ghost to attack him. Danielle, or Dani for short, tells Danny she knows who he is and in a surprising twist of fate, she transforms into a ghost similar to that of Danny. They manage to melt the ghost by using ghost rays to blast a hole in the ghost. Danny afterwards quickly bombards her with questions, but she quickly fakes a faint to avoid questioning, causing Danny to take her back home.

By next day, Sam and Tucker are not interested in on the revelation of Dani, still angry over yesterday. Dani afterwards phases through the table where Danny once again tries to ask her, but their ghost senses go off as the little green ghost comes in, destroying the cafeteria. Danny and Dani run after it, leaving Dash to blame the mess on Tucker and Sam to Mr. Lancer.



Danny and Dani chase the ghost across Amity Park (in a bit of a race the two started), but Dani starts to lag, causing a confident Danny to run into Vlad. The older hybrid, more serious than ever, fights Danny. Evenly matched, Danny is knocked unconscious however from behind by Dani who shoots a ghost ray at his back, all part of a job masterminded by Vlad, her "daddy". Sam and Tucker, while taking out the garbage from the cafeteria, witness Vlad carrying Danny away with Dani following suit. When Lancer tells the two to return, they quickly fake an excuse causing an angry teacher as they run to the Fenton household. There Maddie picks up the phone when Lancer calls them about Sam and Tucker's behavior. The parents catch the two sneaking into the basement lab, taking the Specter Deflector as they ride the Specter Speeder to find Danny via Booo-merang.



At Vlad's cabin, Danny awakens in the Spectral Energy Neutralizer where, after another barrage of insults, Vlad reveals how he used his ghost powers to steal money and overshadow millionares (like Bill Gates) to become the rich man he is today, but confesses in the end how all he wanted was love. Dani, invisible above them, sees all this as Vlad shows Danny a containment chamber containing the "perfect half-ghost son" clone. The other ghosts Danny has fought, including Dani, were imperfect clones. Vlad afterwards (after placing Danny in a containment chamber) sends the small green ghost (which is actually a small, amorphous clone of Danny) to try and overshadow Danny to get him to transform, but he resists. The chamber overloads and Danny flies out. A frustrated Vlad then notices Dani who, heartbroken confronts and cries out if she, too is imperfect; the clone dissolving into ectoplasm only heightens her fear. Vlad lies to her that he needs Danny's DNA to stabilize hers. Believing his words, she sets out to find Danny whom she attacks, the latter trying hard to warn her not to or she will dissolve, as well as tell her that Vlad is not trying to save her but merely using her. She, however, refuses to believe him and knocks him out again.



Danny wakes up in the containment chamber again once more with Vlad ordering Dani to overshadow Danny. A reluctant Dani is afraid the strain will be too much for her. Vlad continuously eggs her on until he harshly snaps at her hesitation. Knowing she was now being used the entire time, she releases Danny, both transform, and knock Vlad into the primary clone's chamber. There, Vlad watches in horror as his perfect clone slowly dissolves. With his most determined plan a failure, Vlad eyes Dani in a fit of pure rage, immediately trying to get revenge on her for the loss of his "son". Danny, however, steps in and unleashes his Ghostly Wail. Vlad is knocked back as well as all the devices used to make the clones, however a bitter Vlad immediately gets up and transforms again. Dani defends Danny despite her still unstabilized form. Luckily, she is saved when Vlad is suddenly hit in the head by the Boooo-merang and the Specter Speeder crashes into the building, slamming into him. Tucker quickly puts the Specter Deflecter on Vlad, and Dani punches him in the face, knocking him unconscious. Danny tightly hugs Sam and Tucker and thanks them numerous times for their help, promising to never take them for granted again



At FentonWorks, Sam and Tucker face potential punishment from the Fenton parents and Lancer until out of the blue, Maddie suddenly declares they don't need to call their parents and receive punishment; Lancer strangely agrees as well, then tells Jack they can always build another Specter Speeder which quckly reduces his anger and turns into excitement. Tucker and Sam later on, assume Danny overshadowed them from afar, but it was merely Dani who saved their hides. She flies off, promising they will meet again. Danny thanks Sam and Tucker again, much to their annoyance.

I absolutely LOVED Kindred Spirits! It was so action-packed and amazing! The fight scenes were all awesome- especially when Danny fought Vlad and then teamed up with Dani. And I really like Dani! :) Plus there was a great moral- to always appreciate your friends. And I also loved the "Okay, I've said it before and I'll say it again- you really are one seriously crazed-up fruitloop!" line! That has 'XD' written all over it! Every episode with Vlad in seasons one and two were leading up to this ep. Another awesome line was "And I would watch a hundred more faliures devolve into ectoplasm to get the perfect half ghost son!" I don't know whether Vlad's obsessiveness to get a Danny clone was more cool or creepy (in a good way!). Phantastic animation, also! Out of ten, I'd give this a ten-thousand-decillion. Outstanding job!

This eppi aired right on my 11th birthday and there was a new character, Danielle. She was so cool! What I thought was a shocker was that she was a CLONE of Danny! I honestly guessed that she was Danny's cousin and her name was Danielle when I first saw the commercial. I think I have some weird phsycic powers. Boo-ya! Get it? BOO-ya? I'm not funny, am I? Oh well. I didn't like how Vlad was trying to hurt Danny and Danielle. The scary image of Danny in the box thingy first seen in Bitter Reunions was weird. Did anyone else see his tounge flying everywhere? GROSS!!!!!

This was a great episode! Vlad tries to create a clone of Danny and he comes up with a female clone of him! Her name is Dani, or Danielle and uses her to bring Danny closer to him! She would be sooo cool if she was actually related to Danny! She turned nicer in the end and actually told him that she'd be back, so I hope it's true! In this eppy, Vlad wasn't his funny self, the side i like! Anyway, she was the coolest person I had been introduced to! She is one of my fave villians because in the end, she becomes nice again! YAY! This was an aweosme episode!!:D

I absolutely loved this episode! This has to be one of my all time favorites. There is nothing about this episode that I didn't like. Vlad is my favorite villains and I love any episode he is in, but this is my favorite. I absolutely love Dani. She is sooooooo cute!!! I loved her voice and her costume. I can't wait until she comes back. The story line was perfectly well written. Vlad wants to create a clone of Danny, but he needs Danny's mid-morph sample, so he needs help from Dani to retrieve it. The scene where Vlad confronted Danny and started to fight him was great and probably my favorite scene. If you haven't seen this episode, you should because it was great!!!

Vlad's at it again, now making CLONES of Danny. Will the frootloop EVER give up?! Danny's attacked by the 'bedsheet ghost' and leaves Sam and Tucker to fix a miniature glof course. From scratch. Then we're introduced to Danielle, a rockin' twelve year old with GHOST POWERS and identical interests to Danny. The two are attacked by ghost version of Hulk, then Danielle 'faints' before Danny can ask her questions. Anyone else get a serios 'evil' vibe? In the lunchroom, Danielle's at it again, Sam and Tucker are mad, and a glowing dot attacks. Vlad captures Danny and tries to get a mid-morph sample. Danielle attacks Danny. Danny and Danielle attack Vlad. All in all, this episode ROCKED!

This episode is really good! Danielle pops out of no wear and is so much like Danny! She knows all about the space program. She kind of reminds me of Toph from Avatar the Last Airbender. I do not know she just does. So anyway she starts out on Vlads side then realizes what a jack@$$ or should I say Vlad@$$ he is and switches over. She really is a good perky little fighter if she did not disintegrate every time she fought. I like the programs Vlad created of Jack and Maddie. The three ghosts Vlad sent to destroy Danny were weird.

OK, so I heard about this episode, and really couldn't wait to see it. So when I finally watched it, I was a little disappointed. It is an amazing episode, but it was a little weird. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but to me the more recent episodes have been kind of weird. I'm not saying it wasn't good, but I was kind of expecting more. I love this show, but this episode, not so much. Yes, i like the recent develpoments in the show, but is could have been set up a little better. I can't wait for season three to see what happens next, and to see if Danielle does return. I think I could stand another episode with her. But until then, keep protesting so the writers can make it even better in a season four! You'll hear from me again soon!

In what some have called "giving the silent finger to fanfic writers", Butch goes and creates "Kindred Spirits", featuring a female clone of Danny Phantom (ironically dubbed Dani). No wonder they complain, as this seems like something out of a fanfic. However, Butch actually makes it work.



Turns out, Vlad's been working on a Danny clone since at least "Shades of Gray", and Dani was created out of the project - as a reject as opposed to the final product. And, it's clear that she's still young (not even a full year, physically), and isn't quite aware that she's just being manipulated by that "crazed-up fruit loop". It isn't until Danny gets to know her that she learns that she's just being played for a fool. I don't know where the fans get off calling her a "Mary-Sue", but that's a mean way to put her character. Seeing as that this is only her first episode, let's cut her some slack.



Truth is, Dani's cute. I've found my favorite character of the show.

Danny shows that he has been terrible inconsider to his friends and that he also his getting more powerful. He then ditches his friends and meets a very strange girl, she looks and talk and acts like him even has his name! But he brushes it off till Vlad comes strolling into town, and he learns what really goes on in the Chesse head mind!



Vlad is terribly lonely and all he diesre is what everyone wants and that a love a child. Getting all that money using his power was yes cool but matlizein earthly things don't fill the void of a broken heart.



He wants a son and he want him to be half ghost so he been trying to clone Danny but can't he needs a mid morph sample. Danny of course gets out and helps Dani realzie the turth! All in all Kick ass ghost girl yes! and I guess if it takes nearly getting dysciting and cloned then killed to appriate your firends it ok and still funny! Here an idea why doesn't Vlad just go back in time and take Danny as a baby and raise him? Be a lot less trouble!

Danny gets a strange feeling that Vlad is after him when he sees that three ghost went after him. While defeating the ghost he tends to get Sam and Tucker in trouble, his excuess was that he couldn't be seen in ghost form. They get tried of the way he's been treating him, and refuse to help him out. When he gets home, he sees that a girl that has simerlar interest as he does. Danny wants to know who this girl is and why is she here. She tells him that she's his cousin Danielle, and that she ran away from home, so he couldn't tell his parents that she was here. Just then, another ghost comes after Danny. Thats when he sees that Danielle has ghost just like him, Dani Phantom. But she's not as good with hm as he is. Later on, we get to see that Dani's one of Vlad's experiment. He tries convince her that she's one of Vlad's imperfect ghost clones, and that she can't fight or use her powers for long. She doesn't believe him at first, then she sees that Vlad has been lying to her. She fights back at him and ends up getting to live longer. Also, she helps Danny, Sam, and Tucker out of trouble with Danny's parents and their principal!

I really liked this episode. Danielle was my fave charecter in Kinderd Spirts. I reallly liked how they disguised who she was, while still makeing her likeable. I classified this as a reason I watch this series. I felt bad for Dani, because she was stuck between a rock and a hard place: her creator (the one she calls \'dad\'), or the person she was based of of (Danny). I would have chosen Vlad if i was her, but then that would have more than likely ruined the series so that would not have worked either. I\'m really glad this episode ended they way it did. Can\'t wait for Dani to return.

AWESOME!!! This is a must see episode!!! Danny has a clone made by Vlad that changes from good to bad and back again a lot. Her name is Danille, or Dani for short. If Dani had not changed like that I would have given this episode a ten. At the end, she is a good girl and got Danny out of some serious trouble with his parents and his teacher. I wonder where Dani went at the end of the episode? When do you think she will return? I bet it will be another good episode when she returns. Dani is so cool!!!

This is one of my favorite episodes! Turns out that Vlad has been spying on Danny for months using Valiries ghost hunting gear. Through the infomation he gets he trys to clone Danny to "get the perfect half ghost son", but he's still missing one important part. He needs a dna sample of Danny midmorth to complete the work. Using the help of Dani one of his failed experiments, he uses her to pretend that she is Danny's 3rd cousen twice removed to lure Danny to him. While Danny is at Vlads cabin he tryes to tell Dani that Vlad is using her. She dosn't believe him intil Vlad has an upblow on her saying that she lives to serve him. She hepls Danny who uses his ghostly wail to take down the lab.

it\'s a so cool!!!!! danny has a clone cousin,but sadally she\'s helping vlad.but when she finds out what she\'s made for,she\'s helping danny now. this is special because it\'s not shown very much. but what\'s weierd is why is danni is wearing a red hat but when she\'s in ghost form she\'s not wearing a hat is\'nt that weierd???? but in one of a kind,danny said that sam and tucker are his sidekicks.am i the only one who knows that????? danni\'s costume is a lot like shego\'s from kim possible. this is a really great episode and it\'s too bad butch hartman not putting her in it very much or kindred spirits is not shown very much.

this was an ok episode, it had vlad in it but it just wasent much to it, tea im glad there is another half ghost but i dont really like danille, she was just kinda annoying. and also this is the first time we here that sam and tucker get blamed for every thing. other than that stuff it was a really good episode. i liked the i cant here you over the roar of the engines thing when they werent even on, and the computer maddie saying that she liked the computer jack better and their use of the boooo-merang was funny too.

this eppy was so great, but it was really kinda like deja vu. i made an eppy almost exactly like this about three months before i even found out about this one(which is when it came out). i even designed the character that i named annie phantom instead of danni (weird huh?) oh well. this was and still remains the best eppy in my book. the plot was great. danniell was adorable. she was like the perfect little sister for danny. he protected her from vlad like only an older bro could. that just made me smile. also there was some of that random humor that butch is so good at incorperating in the mix.

Besides the fact This is another episode he almost looses Sam and Tucker's trust, he also has to deal with a female clone of himslef who pretends to be an allie. Then during the whole fight scene Dani finally gets manipulated by both Danny and Vlad and in the end she chooses the side of good, but she still almost dissolves into a puddle of goo. And I can't believe she just leaves promising they'd meet again, is she going off to find someway to make herslef whole so she won't dissolve like all the other clones? I wonder. Yo

This is one of the best episods yet!!!!!!!!!!!!! i loved it in fact me and my friends are filming our version of the episode lol.ican't really describe it it is like some of the best episodes well kinda but u get the point i totally loved it this is why i LOVE the show i watch it every day it is so fasinating i really can't wait to see more new episodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To put it simply, I found Dani extremely annoying. I don't think she was really necessary to advance the plot. Sure, it showed how desperate Vlad was to have Danny as a son, but still, I didn't find it necessary. This episode did have some excitment, though, and it wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen in my life, but it didn't make up for the clones (which I hated) and the fact that the ending should have been much, much sadder than it was. It sounds horrible, but Dani really should have just dissolved into ectoplasmic goo in my opinion. It doesn't make sense that she should have been able to stay alive, anyway, using that much power should have surely reduced her unstable form to nothing. I really hope Dani doesn't come back, because, without her, I think I might have found this episode tolerable, even likable. But, unfortunatly, I cannot stand her, so, I can't give this episode a high rating.

Danielle should be in every episode cause she is one of the best charaters in the show and shes so adorable and even though she is a clone she is a really cool clone whoe deserves to be in alot of episodes in the third season and shes even more adoreble when she says "you wanna ask quetions or you wanna kick some but"

I knew this episode would be good because it AIRED on MY B-DAY!April 7,1006.This is my absolute FAVORITE episode!Besides Fanning the Flames,that is...I think this is one of Butch Hartman's BEST work!Danielle is my favorite character!!!(Besides Danny,Sam,Tucker,Jazz and Val...LOL)But shes still REALLY cool...Im just wondering...when the heck is she coming back?Shes awesome and I cant figure out why Butch is holding back to bring her back...Im figuring she'll definetly be in season 3,or Ill scream bloody murder!Cause season 3 is the last season,and if she hasnt come back by then,Ill PERSONALLY write Butch and say:"You broke youre promise!!!YOURE A LIAR!A liar I tell you!LIAR,LIAR,pants on FIRE!!"Lol...NO I wont really do that but Ill be upset.....

This episode I have to say has been one of the best yet. If you weren't convinced that Vlad was crazy before, this episode completely shows his insanity. You also have to kinda feel sorry for Danille as well, as she learned that her " father " really didn't care whether she lived or died. One thing that does disappoint me however is that it seems that Dani Phantom was made to be nothing more than the female conterpart to Danny Phantom ( ex. Superman and supergirl, batman and batgirl ). This is why I cannot give it a 10.

I was starting to think that this show was gettign stupid with Beauty Marked that had stupid battles and Masters of All Time which ahd no action. A lot of people were bashing this episode since it had another human/ghost hybrid, but I don't care about that just the action and this actually had it. The fight with the skelton clone was kind of conry, but I loved the new attack. It looked like something on DBZ. And the fight with the hulk was awesome finally he kills some oppoenents. And I especially loved Dark Shadow Vlad before I hated Vlad, but now I've reconsidered.

Great season finale! Love to see alot more of Dani,\"super powered cousin\".



Would like her to meet Danny sister and maybe move in with danny family. A little sister would help in stories move into more direction also.



I would like to know that she save and well and away from Vlad. Maybe danny\'s Mom and Dad could find out that Vlad clone her but not that she has ghost powers?



Vlad could be after her to fine out How and why, she became a indivisible personality and not just a stable clone.
