Patricia Heaton does not reprise her role of the Lunch Lady Ghost, from "
Mystery Meat", in this episode. Starting with this episode, the character is now voiced by
Kath Soucie, who voices Maddie Fenton.

In this episode, it is revealed that humans are considered "ghosts" in the Ghost Zone. Humans in the Ghost Zone can phase through objects just like a ghost on Earth. They obtain pretty much all the powers of Danny in his ghost form, with the exception of ectoplasm-based abilities.
