  • Tucker gets ghost powers too!! AHHH!! And a new ghost comes to town, Desiree!

    9.4
    "Superb"
Yeah, so Danny is getting kinda jealous of Tucker becuase Desiree is a new ghost and is granting wishes to everyone! Tucker wishes that he has ghost powers becuase he always gets the "short end of the stick" when it comes to Danny and his ghost fighting! Also, I thought it was very funny when they fought inside Paulina! hehe!! That was pretty funny! She looked really funny becuase she was yelling in two different voices, like she was having a conversation with herself!! Oh and I also like Danny's line, "Yeah, because crashing into the 29th floor of ANYTHING is bad!!" Wow, that was totally great!:D
  • Tucker learns a valuable lesson about being careful what you wish for.

This isn't my favorite episode, but it was still pretty good. In this episode, we learn about the close relationship between Danny and Tucker and how they had always shared everything; except Danny's ghost powers. Tucker is envious of Danny's ghost powers, so he wishes that he had them. His wish is granted by Dezerra, the wishing ghost, but his ghost powers are a lot different than Danny's, maybe even deadly. My favorite parts of this episode would have to be when Tucker is stuck watching a girl's movie while Danny is off fighting ghosts and when Tucker is using his powers for his benefit.
  • What was Danny\\\'s wish?

In the opener, Desiree asks Danny\\\'s heart\\\'s desire, he replies \\\"None of your buisness.\\\" When she goes to touch him, he tells her to get away. It seems like Danny did have a certian, big wish but didnt want Desiree to know it (due to the fact that she\\\'s a ghost) What is Danny\\\'s heart\\\'s desire at that point?
  • The second halfa is Tucker Phantom. And with a spooky new ghost Desiree some how connected Danny has his hands full...

Not only did this story make Tucker a more interesting more great character. But it was a terrific start for the ghostly Desiree. This episode showed something you'd always want to see in a show but don't always. The sidekick being jelous of his friends powers. This fitted Tucker perfectly for at first. Plus him narrating it was great too. I like episodes every once and while when a character is in charge of telling the story. It's not only us watching them. It's normal for a friend to feel this way about a friend and their super cool powers. But once he got them then lost him he understood it wasn't all fun and games though he had hoped Danny would be that way. It was a real burdened and I think it helped make thier friendship more cemented. Not to happy about not seeing Sam much. But it was kind of nice to see Tucker's light of the situation for once. All and all a very good episode.
  • Danny gets a new power and Tucker becomes a half-ghost!Problem is he turns evil and now Danny has to stop him.

    9.1

Tucker narrates this episode and tells us what happened.

Tucker says he and Danny share alot of things, but there is one thing they can't share,Danny's ghost powers.Tucker admitts he is jealous of Danny's powers a genie ghost named Desiree is unleashed.Desiree only wants to grant peoples wishes the problem is her wishes cause big problems.Danny tries to stop her he discovers a new power to fire ecto-plasmic rays, which he uses to take out Desiree(for a short time)Danny and Tucker try to hang out(Sam's sick which is why she isn't hanging out with them)Desiree causes more trouble by granting their wishes like giving Dash super strength or making Paulina super cute.Danny goes into action by taking the ecto plasma out of their bodies, this makes Tucker feel left out and he wishes for ghost powers, which Desiree grants.Tucker fools around with his new powers Danny sends the ecto plasma he got from Dash and Paulina back into the Ghost Zone.He discovers his parents new invention the Ghost Catcher which separtes a ghost from a human or separts a half-ghosts human and ghost sides. While Danny tries to save someone from a another wish going wrong Tucker comes to help him, leaves Danny shocked about his ghost powers.Danny saves the guy Tucker becomes more jealous and flies off at speed that surpasses Danny's.

Tucker starts to abuse his powers for his own gain.Danny conforts him about this Tucker says he is jealous and that he should back off.So he goes to Desiree to asks her how to turn Tucker back to normal. After a breif fight Danny beats her and she tells him that he has to stop Tucker before tommorow or he will become the most powerful and destructive ghost boy on the planet.Danny suckes her in the thermous and the next day at school he confornts Tucker.Tucker now completely consumed by jealous attacks Danny and says their can only be one Phantom. The two of them fight but Tucker is more powerful so Danny tricks him into fellowing him back to his house, were he knocks Tucker in the Ghost Catcher and splits him from his evil ghost half.Danny send the evil Tucker back to the Ghost Zone.Tucker and Danny make up both having learned a vauleable lesson about jealous. The episode ends with both of them getting a cold and Sam saying did they have to share everything.Tucker says she has no idea.

A great episode it shows us some development on Tucker's character.Desiree may be the villain it is clear that Tucker Phantom is the main villain of the episode. We get insight on how strong Danny and Tucker's friendship really is.
  • Well Tucker narrates,Not many characters narrate episodes thats pretty cool, Tucker is jealous of dannys ghost powers, danny is a mascot , sam appears after theme for about 2 min, and comes back in the end, dannys parents lived in a tent, alot happened!

Alot happened in this episode, it really tells you that Whatever you wish for may happen but you may not get the results that YOU hoped for! it has a good moral to it!!! when ever it is on i jump up and down and i scream! i love this episode it is my Number 1 favorite! and you get to see tucker with out his glasses, and sam appears for about 2 minutes after theme, and 1 minute at end! but anyway this episode it the bomb! • Tucker is given ghost powers like Danny by a wish-granting ghost named Desiree.

    7.2

When Danny and Tucker are at a swap meet, they encounter a ghost named Desiree who grants wishes, but which result in chaos unfolding. Danny fights her and the chaos she creates, leaving Tucker hanging out to dry when he does. Fed up, Tucker wishes he has ghost powers too, and Desiree grants it! But he can’t have the powers without abusing them to cause mayhem across the school, and Danny’s growing both annoyed with it and concerned for his friend. Tucker, however, things that Danny is just jealous. Will their friendship, and Tucker’s humanity, survive?

The overall plot did seem rather interesting. This episode, while not the best, definitely hit me in a much better way than AotKGS and SI hit me.

The fact that Tucker was narrating a good portion of the episode made sense, since it mostly revolves around him. His comments about having charm, modesty, etc. were very IC and quite funny. For some reason, most of the opener I thought was rather dull. Except for the fact that Danny uses his ghost ray for the first time! It’s really cool and really handy.

After the opener, the scene with the football game was something I…sort of enjoyed. It struck me as unrealistic to see Dash getting crushed by about nine players on the opposing team. Although it was irrelevant to the plot, it still bugged me a bit. I normally don’t mind seeing Dash getting pounded, the situation was definitely different.

The couple of scenes where Sam showed up were fine. The fact that she was sick throughout the majority didn’t bother me, because she wasn’t exactly needed for the conflict between Danny and Tucker.

Tucker bothered me just a bit in this episode. His next truly main episode was in DD, but at least he had a good bit of humor and character development there. Here, it was a bit of character development, but his regular dumb but funny nature seemed just a little off. Except for his comment about being in the girls’ locker room, as well as the incident when he and Danny were both overshadowing Paulina; I found those funny. But I guess I can give him some credit because it was mainly the spell that Desiree had casted on him that made him act the way he did. And I guess it’s understandable to be jealous if your friend is showing off (although I don’t think that’s what Danny was doing).

I liked the way Danny was presented in this episode very much. He did truly seem to care about Tucker when he saw that he had mysteriously gotten ghost powers. First time we really see that in the series. And his remark about Tucker pulling jokes really showed how different their personalities are. Danny definitely has more common sense.

For some reason, I didn’t enjoy Desiree that much in this episode. I thought she was somewhat giddy at granting wishes, but she improved greatly in the second half. She had a lot more of that sinister thing that made her a decent villain. The fact that Tucker would permanently be changed because of her spell added a good sense of threat, something I found lacking in a couple of episodes prior to this. She is a rather easy villain to defeat, though. I enjoyed Desiree a lot more in MB, but she was decent here.

There is not a lot I can say about WyW. There was a good amount of character development, the music was pretty good, and this episode gets 7.2/10.
  • This episode was awesome!

A Genie ghost is released from a lamp, and any wish someone asks, she grants, but there is always a bad side to the wish.

Tucker becomes jelous of Danny's powers and wishes he has ghost powers. This was really cool because it nice to see how Tucker used his powers compared to danny.

Danny has to save Tucker and make him normal again before things get out of control. This was a funny and exciting episode of DP.

And by the way, for some reason, i found it so funny when Mr Lancer said "Moby DICK!"
  • meet the second halfa tucker phantom

    9.2
    "Superb"
all right this was a good episode of danny phantom to watch because tucker is the villain this time and so is desiree but more importantly tucker is the villain so that means i give this episode a better score than what i should have given it. now if only desiree was the villain i would have given this episode a 5 thats how much i thought tucker was cool as a villain. obviously tucker was more powerful than danny but danny probably had more skill because he had his powers way longer than tucker. Now the final reason i love this episode is because every time danny made tucker jealous tucker got a power to counter dannys statements.
  • Tucker is jealous of Danny and wishes that he had ghost powers too. The wish-granting ghost Desiree grants it and Tucker gets ghost powers. However, the powers are making him evil and Danny must save him with another Fenton invention.

    "Great"
Better than the last episode. This one was worth watching. It was interesting to see how Danny would fight against Tucker, his own best friend, as well as trying to outdo each other. Also, Danny finally got a new power, a ghost ray. At last, a good ghost power. It will surely increase the action in later episodes. It won't be just fist-fights anymore. I wonder if Tucker will have another jealousy attack and cause more problems for Danny. A wish-granting ghost is a good idea since it makes things unpredictable. One simple wish could make things difficult for Danny and friends.
  • I liked it but they could have made it better.

They could have written Tuker better and just written it better. But I liked this episode. It was great. But in my opinion it could have been written better. But it was a good episode way better then some other tv show. Thats for sure. But thats just my opinion.
  • It was a great epesoide. the reason I gave it Painful 2 watch is because...

Danny gets smashed in the mascot suite. And Tucker supposedly gets hurt in the suite. Also no one covered there mouth when they had a cold and sneezed. The Casper high Ravens had to make a wish and be granted powers by a ghost in order to have a chance at winning the game. Tuker is ugly in when he is a ghost. Danny has to change Tuker from being a ghost to being normal Tuker before 12 PM so his powers won't cement in rage in jealousy. Tuker Phantom wants to elemenate Danny Phantom. Don't be a show-off around your friends or they might wish for ghost powers from a ghost who will grant them that wish at her own personal cost.
  • Episode 6 - What You Want - My review

    8.6
    "Great"
The episode starts off with Tucker narrating how close he is with Danny. At the Amity Swap Meet, while Danny and Tucker are buying new stuff, a magic lamp accidentally falls down from Madam Babazita’s Mystical Oddities stall, letting loose Desiree, a ghost who let’s everyone’s wishes come true in a bad way. Danny tries to fight her, but she gets away. Desiree starts granting everyone’s wishes like turning Dash into a monster when he wishes to be one to win the football game, or turning Paulina into a freaky cute doll that everyone worships. When Danny has to leave Tucker, to fight all the ghosts, Tucker becomes angry and wishes that he had ghost powers just like Danny. Desiree hears him and grants him his wish, and Tucker gets his powers.

The only problem is, Tucker starts using his powers to pull pranks on people, and soon the monstrous ghost version of him starts to take over completely. In the end, Danny has to fight Tucker and try to catch Desiree from granting more wishes to people.

I liked this episode, mainly because of the duel between Danny and Tucker. While the ending was pretty predictable, it was nevertheless fun to see the bad side of Tucker try to challenge Danny. The only downside was that there wasn’t much involvement of the other characters in this episode like Sam. Other than that, this episode was not the best, but pretty good.
  • In my opinion one of the most underrated episodes of the series, What You Want is one of my personal favorites.

    9.1
    "Superb"
What You Want is defiantly one of my favoite eps of the whole series right now. Ah, where to start?

I have to say the main reason I like this ep is because we get to see Tucker in a major role and taking part in some more of the action. I especially loved the fact he narrated the episode. Him suddenly getting ghost powers just like Danny was the perfect way to go. I love it when we get to see more than one person with the ghost powers. And what better storyline to lead to his powers than him getting jealous of Danny.

The idea of two friends battling each other, and where Danny's own best friend becomes his worst enemy, is just brillant. The flying car scene was clever, not only because of it's comical relief, but also for how it devoloped their conflict.

I thought it was hilarious watching the scenes with Tucker playing pranks on everyone. My favorite had to be the one at the lunchline.

I think Sam getting sick throughout the entire ep was an interesting twist. It was good that she didn't take a major role agai this time in solving the conflict like in so many episodes. I guess this is perhaps why some people don't like the ep: because they wanna complain there are no D/S moments, which I think is rather stupid because what's wrong with Sam NOT being in the episode much?

And let's not forget, this is the ep where we first see Desiree, who would later appear in everyone's favorite and most overrated episode, MB.

Desiree seemed pretty good in this ep to. However she didn't seem very much like an evil person or villian in the ep, cause for one, she was trying to be nice to Danny at the begginning; and the story the old lady told about Desiree's life, she actually seemed more like a nicer person who was just lonely. Although that it wasn't a bad thing, she should've been made to look more villanious than what she did. It was interesting that the final fight in the ep was with Tucker and not Desiree to.

Overall one of my favorite eps and well written, like I said this one is terribly underrated. To me at least, there's not too much to hate about the episode. It's weak points lay only in Desiree being portrayed as less of a villian, and that the fight scences could've been a tad bit better. So I'll give it a 9.1.

  • Tucker's jealous about Danny having ghost powers.

Uses the "becareful what you wish for" moral, and Tucker leans the hard way. after he wishes he has ghost powers like Danny, Desiree the wishing ghost grants Tucker ghost powers but at a terrible price, Tucker's jealousy cemented into rage and frustration causing him to become a powerful monster very fast. In the end Tucker learned a very important lession about friendship.
  • Not my absolute favorite, but it's worth watching.

    7.8
    "Good"
This episode of Danny Phantom definitely added to the series, since Danny gets a new power, a new enemy appears, and Danny and Tucker have an experience that tries their friendship. There was plenty of action and humor, and several of the characters have some great lines. Desiree was a pretty good villianess. She really gave Danny a hard time. Also, a reference to Fairly Oddparents was made in the theater (Crash Nebula Video Game), which just added something for me. Even though I wouldn't go out of my way to watch this episode again, if it's on, I'd watch it. I give it a 7.8.
  • One of my favorite DP episodes. It's a very funny episode. I laughed so hard, and I can watch it over and over agian without being tired of it. Tucker and Danny's friendship is heart warming and lovable here. Sam may get a small roll in this episode she's

This episode is good, aside from the fact that it happened WAY to early. The humour was again, okay. Still not laugh out loud funny. Danny recieving a new power, was pretty sweet. Desiree had the perfect background for her profile, and her quest to grant everyones deepest desires. Kinda sad. I think this episode happened to early, but it was good.
  • This episode was pretty good but I wouldnt call it a classic.

I liked this episode. I thought the ghost Deseriee was scary and pretty wierd. I wish there was more fighting in this episode though. It was very funny throughout the whole episode because all he had to do was wish deseriee into the thermos. He finally figured that out though. I liked how they made Tucker wish to be a ghost and then he got jealous of Danny and fought him. That was pretty cool. I thought it was typical to save Tucker in the nict of time with that ghost dream catcher. I didnt like how it was from tuckers point of view. In the end I give it 2 thumbs up just needed some more action and I think deseriee will be in Memory Blank too.
