In part two of Dante’s Cove, we continue on our journey with the residents of the mysterious Hotel Dante. Ambrosius is doing all he can to influence Kevin and lure him to the dark side. He enlists the help of Cory to assist him as a minion to do his bidding. Meanwhile, Grace has been trying to work her way between Ambrosius and his menacing hold on the town. Van and Toby continue to work together to research the history of the Cove while trying to break the spell that seems to have a hold on Kevin. Will they be able to overpower Ambrosius before it’s too late?moreless

With Kevin in the hospital and no longer under his spell Ambrosius turns his attention onto Grace. He traps her and puts her under the same spell that trapped him for nearly 200 years. Meanwhile Kevin and Van spend there time researching the history of the cove and uncover the truth about what is happening to Kevin. Then There Was Darkness is not quite as great as In the Beginning but it has enough going on to keep you entertained. The Grace and Ambrosius scenes are a highlight despite being weighed down with numerous flashbacks to stuff we have seen over and over again. Cory and Ambrosius sex scene is truly twisted and strangely very erotic. While the reaction to Kevin's death although having some of the cringest dialog yet is emotional enough to be a quite touching.

Then There Was Darkness is a decent conclusion but it major flaw is the episode it missing a great climax.moreless
