    I really hated Ms. Manson, the school psychologist from the first ep. I'm so glad she never made it into any other eps, because she was just annoying.

    I wasn't a big fan of Andreea, either. I did like how she and Upchuck got together at the end of the series, though. I thought it was fitting.

    I think the series would have been okay without BOTH of Helen's sisters. I never got to see the wedding episode, so I only know them from "Aunt Naseum" and "Through a Lens Darkly"...the relationship between the sisters is supposed to mime Daria and Quinn's relationship (well, at least that is what I think) and so they are dragging a third wheel along

    I love all the characters in Daria, even Upchuck (I actually knew a guy just like him.... "grrrrr, feisty!!") ...each character is funny in their own way, and all the main characters are given depth and development.

    The only character that gets on my nerves is Tom. He's very plain, and he's never funny! I think the writers wanted Daria to date a guy who was totally stable in order to get the message across that she really *isn't* a freak, but in fact a normal girl who can date a normal guy, but I find him too boring.

    I wish Lhurman from the wedding episode ("I Don't") came back and dated Daria. He cracks me up and I think they would have made a cool couple. I just wish the writers had made a boyfriend for Daria that was just as quirky as the rest of the characters. Also, Tom's character design bugs me. Cargo pants? What a douche! That's my two cents!

    I don't like the principal  nor do I  really care for jane I just don't know why she is suppose to be an  outcast when she seems to be the kind of perosn whom anyone could  hang out with. I still think she is ok but I just feel that maybe they should have made a character  that was  in line with daria.

    I actually can do a pretty good impression of her and I use it when I talking about someone I really can't stand...although most of my friends don't watch "Daria" so they don't really get the reference... :/

    jane?! are you kidding? she's one of my favs characters. i think she's supposed to bring a little balance into daria's life.. if they would have put a daria clone, it was... too monotone..
    anyway, i never liked the fashion club...

    I found Mack pretty pointless except when Kevin would call him "Mack-Daddy" and getting the response of "Don't call me that!"

    And I don't get why people don't like Sandi! I don't like people like her but thats why I think shes funny, because she just reminds you of those people you love to hate! That's why I like all of the fashion club, that and their utter stupidity.

    Tom was actually kind of boring to me. Pleasant, but just too..plain vanilla of a character.

    Sadly enough, there are many real-life principals in American schools who, like Principal Li, lack enough brains to do the job right. My HS principal, for instance.
