Is it College yet? All the characters are moving on with their lives. The movie ends with not only Daria and Tom breaking up but with Quinn telling the definition of Manifest Destiny, which Daria had said in the beginning in the same class.
I liked it. Maybe it's just me since I'm in college, but I think that it was a good episode. It reminded me of when I was looking at colleges. Unlike Daria and Tom I didn't have a college interview. I did however worry whether I would got into my top choice school. I thought Quinn doing her own thing was good. The fact she worried about her friend's drinking problem was also very realistic. I also wasn't surprised about Kevin having to stay back. I always assumed that he would have to. I liked how the show ended with Quinn answering the same question Daria answered. It is like a cycle that continues on.
the show comes to the end. in a heartfelt and meaningful monotone way. i will forever miss this show. incase you can't tell i'm doing the daria monotone voice.
with college fast approaching Daria must choose between colleges. Jane decides that she doesn't want to go to college. Jake comes to the crazy idea Daria is going to military school. Ms. Janet Barch tricks Mr.O Neil into asking her to marry her. and is engaged against her will. Quinn befriends a college girl with a drinking problem. Jodie is torn between a college she enjoys and one her parents want her to go to. Tom and Daria's relationship is put to the test and unlike other shows that have the couple live happily ever after, their relationship ends. Trent is pretty much the only character that doesn't have any conflict going on. and Charles Upchuch Ruttheimer finally finds a girlfriend. The show wraps up terrificly. Its sad to find a show unique in animation thats hilarious but not a rip off on the Simpsons. Daria is unique and different from any other cartoon then and now. prolly the best thing MTV has ever done.
