Jane's comment about grading herself on a curve is a reference to a standard U.S. school practice that involves making the average of the class's score a "C" rather than simply grading everyone on a percentage of correctly answered questions. (Note: The "grade on a curve" title is also applied to other, slightly different styles of grading, but the above is most common.)
(spoiler) Near the end of her dream when Daria is getting everyone to confess, all of the lockers EXCEPT the one Mr. DeMartino is stuffing Kevin's body into are half lockers. After this sequence, they all return to being that way.
Jane: I was meeting Tom for lunch and didn't want to reek of gunpowder, so I decided to swipe Trent's cyanide. He and the band were saving it in case they don't make it by the time they're fifty.
(at Kevin's funeral) Cheerleaders: Two, four, six, eight, Kevin's on his final date! Gooooo, Mr. O'Neill!
Daria: Can't I just skip the investigation and go straight to solitary confinement?
Sandi: Tiffany, you're not even supposed to be here until Quinn leaves over creative differences. Quinn: What?
Mack: What can I say about Kevin? That he was...well, he was...um...he never made anyone feel stupid. Thank you very much.
Ms. Li: Miss Morgendorffer, it is my duty to inform you that you are the number one suspect in the murder of Kevin Thompson. Daria: What? Jane: It's always the quiet ones.
Jake: Hey kiddo! How was your day? Daria: Fine. I heard a new voice inside my head and Kevin stole a test so everyone's getting an "F". Jake: That's great! Helen: Daria, you were just kidding about the voice, right? Daria: (to herself) Relax. We don't have to answer that.
Jane: This sucks. The first time I get a 95, too! Daria: Funny, from here it looks like an 84. Jane: I grade myself on a curve.
Mr. DeMartino: Kevin? Kevin: I have an "A" because...I got a hundred? Mr. DeMartino: That's right, Kevin. In fact, almost the entire football team, despite repeated cranial trauma and a chronic inability to solve the maze on the back of a cereal box, got a hundred! Brittany: Go, team, go! Mr. DeMartino: Only Mr. Mackenzie got a "B"! Brittany: (less enthusiastically) Go, Mac, go... (Kevin and the other football players cheer on except for Mack) Mr. DeMartino: Forgive me my suspicions, but it's obvious that someone--Kevin--got a hold of the test beforehand--Kevin--which would account for the jimmied lock on my filing cabinet--Kevin! Daria: But who does he really suspect? Jane: That Jimmy guy?
Brittany: Kevvy, what's that "A" doing on your paper? Mr. DeMartino: Why Brittany, that's the most intelligent question you've asked all year. Brittany: Thanks!
Ms. Barch: I would just like to say that I'm glad Kevin is dead. I wish all males were dead. Thank you and go Lions.
Mr. DeMartino: I should've become a video store clerk. At least I would have gotten some free movies out of it!

The Pink Panther When Jake becomes a detective, he becomes a parody of Inspector Clouseau from the movie The Pink Panther.
Charlie's Angels The Fashion Club turn into a self-parody of the '70s TV show Charlie's Angels, about a detective agency staffed with beautiful women. Farrah Fawcett became a star from being on this show, and the show was made into a series of movies in the early-2000s that starred Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz.
Title Pun: Murder She Snored This is a pun of the show Murder She Wrote, about a woman that solved murder-mysteries, starring Angela Lansbury.
Kevin: Et tu, Mac Daddy? This is an allusion to "Et tu, Bruté?" the last words of Julius Caesar in William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.
