Dark Angel on DVD

    I've never seen the series till 2 weeks ago. I just got both the seasons (slim sets) and i loved the show. Watched the finale yesterday and it was awesome but left a lot of things opened. Like someone b4 said they should make a movie to conclued the series. (Max still has the virus to kill Logan LOL)

    hahaha that's fantastic. aww i miss the show. i haven't had time to watch my dvds again. i only have season 2 though. i really want season 1, mainly for pollo loco, but i don't think i've ever seen the pilot--actually i don't think i've seen the majority of season 1.

    Same here. I started watching the show about two months ago and I bought the DVDs a few weeks ago. I really enjoy the show.

    I heard that they made season 3 and it was ready to air and were finishing up season 4 when fox cancelled the show. It was in season 4 that they found a cure for the virus

    I don't think that's true... they may have had some thoughts on what s3 and 4 were going to cover but no actual production work... If they had, then it would have been released directly to DVD... not to do so would have meant a total loss of revenue for any work that had been undertaken.

    For those asking about the slim sets:

    Reasons for it:

    1. They are better in that they are less bulk and heavy so it wouldn't take much space on your shelf.

    2. A plus, Season 1 seems to have a new cover art then the one released on the bulked up version. It actually matches more with Season 2, mostly because they used a Season 2 promo lol.

    Reasons not to:

    1. Simply who doesn't want the original collectors edition (at lease now it is) lol :-p.

    hehehe I've got the originals 'cause I simply had to have it immediately when it came out on DVD. I watched it all live on TV too... really was a great show.

    I got into watching Dark Angel last season, when I bought them on dvd. Season 2 is my favorite. Its a shame though that we'll never know how the story would have ended.

    I started watching Dark Angel when it 1st started on TV with season 1, I got the DVDs.

    abit off topic - I was watching Dark Angel on DVD oneday and my sister told me that the guy that played Logan is on NCIS, so I started watching NCIS.

    Which says a lot.

    I've only watch NCIS a couple times. I like his character on it. And I definitely see the similiarites between his character and Alec!

    I'm also a fan of Supernatural, but NZ is still waiting for season 2 to start here.

    I actually just got the series from a friend. I didnt even see the first few episodes till a bunch after I got it, cause I thought "This is just a stupid excuse to parade Jessica Alba around." I didnt see a point to it, or the "transgenic" plot line. When my sister was watching, I saw how kick-ass it was. I since watched every episode in less then a week. I am so ticked at the ending! Yeah, her and Logan cant be together... WTF? How can they leave itthat way!

    There's books that continue the story in Freak Nation. The one set immediately after is Skin Game, the one after that is After the Dark. Just read all 3 in like a week, really enjoyed 'em. The third book btw is a prequal to the first series.

    Does anyone have a link to the DVD commentaries? They were only on the US DVDs :-/ Wish I could get a hold of 'em.

    Wow, I never noticed that Tony of NCIS and Alec are so similar...

    But now I know why I like Tony so much more than I liked Logan.

    Alec is the best!

    Does anybody know where I can find transcripts of the season 2 commentaries???

    I already googled them without luck.
