After a good run of episodes we're back to standalone material and it's a shame. Out is a by the numbers storyline that fails to create any excitement or interest. After three arc-heavy episodes, resorting back to this shallow type of thing just doesn't cut it. Logan and Max's relationship is forcefully strained and made all the more unbearable by the fact it's taken to no new depths and their fallout is really rather petty – Buffy and Angel they aint! The Jam Pony side of things is just mind numbingly dull and the resolution to the child smuggling ordeal is lazy and unoriginal.(We've seen around three episodes now based on child abduction/abuse, enough already!) Auto-pilot stuff...
this one is not one of my favorites but still is very good. i liked the fact that logan and max got mad at each other, although i coould have slaped logan for being so completely clueless about their 'date'. there wasnt much too this episode just max complianing about men and about her bosses love life and even tho hes a jerk most of the time you cant help but feel sorry for the guy. one part i did like was when she sent the guys to that gangsters place and then warned him right before they got there, i loved that part. the end when logan didnt go out on his save the world thing was very good. i also liked his body guard in this one.
