After watching this episode on DVD, it is enlightening to watch it again with the commentary that accompanies the episode. There was actually supposed to be a third season to tie up some open ended issues. The commentary answers a lot of questions that are left unaddressed from the season that were supposed to be dealt with in the third season.
TRIVIA: Fox promoted that James Cameron was directing this episode but left out the fact that the WWF superstar, Lita was in this episode.

When Joshua is donating his blood to Logan in order to save his life, Logan should have immediately died anyway. The scene shows the transfusion tube hooked up to Logan's arm before it has been filled with blood - a major medical mistake. The blood from Joshua would push all the air in the tube in front of it into Logan's arm, causing an air embolism. It would have stopped Logan's heart!
