Ty: Look, it's one thing for Jaimie to go undercover as a criminal and another go under as a victim.
Carter: She knows what she signed on for. This isn't the girls scout.
Ty: Yeah, but they saw her picture (pauses, Carter looks at him). They're talking rape.
Carter: They won't get the chance. You'll be there.
Ty: So this is on me?
Carter: I trust you.
Ty: You trust me? You don't need to trust me, you're back here. Jaimie needs to trust me particularly because you don't have a transponder nor a decent cover.
Carter (upset): I am trying to save someone's life.
Ty: We don't even know if the woman is still alive.
Carter: That's no reason to stop.
Ty: How about putting us all at risk? Is that reason enough?
Carter: It's what we do.
Ty (angry): No, it's what we do.

Carter (in pain): You want 2 million dollars from her and 2 million dollars from me, right? Let her go. Let her go and I'll get you the money.
Dante: Why?
Carter: I have insurance, it won't cost me a penny. Let her go and you'll get your money. I promise.
Dante: When?
Carter: As soon as we can have it, a day.
Dante: And if you don't?
Carter: Then kill me... And you get nothing.

Jaimie: You didn't say anything to him?
Dean: No.
Jaimie: Then why is he replacing me?
Dean: Why do you think this has anything to do with me?
Jaimie: I swear to God ever since I got together with Scott--
Dean: Oh please, don't flatter yourself on it.
Jaimie: In case you haven't noticed I'm not flattered, I'm pissed.
Carter: Stay right here. (to Dean) Come on.
Dean (to Jaimie): Hey, his choice, not mine.

Dean: You got a better idea?
Jaimie: Yeah. Carter is a fixer.
Dean: A fixer?
Jaimie: He needs projects. He needs to save people. Look at us.
Dean: Speak for yourself.

Cpt. Maynard: What was the deal when we first started this?
Carter: I catch people for you.
Cpt. Maynard: And?
Carter: You're OK with it because I do things no one else will.
Cpt. Maynard: And you don't lose your mind in the process.
Carter: Give me a break.

Jaimie: He listens to you, Dean.
Dean: Yeah, so?
Jaimie: So when you say things like 'I won't blend' or 'stay in the car' he listens.
Dean: Yeah, it's because you won't blend and should stay in the car.
