Mr Eldritch, a shades-wearing, bleached-blonde millionaire, arrives at a school claiming to be its benefactor - donating computers to every student. Investigating Eldritch is the ever-inquisitive, wise beyond her years third former Marcie, who with her fifth form friends, Reet and Thomas, uncovers a plot that doesn't just threaten the pupils of the school, but the whole human race!

With Eldritch exposed, it is hoped that things will return to normal, but Marcie, Reet and Thomas arrive back at the school to find a team of blonde archaeologists digging up the playing field. But since when, as Marcie points out, have archaeologists used mechanical diggers? It soon becomes apparent that Miss Pendragon doesn't want to uncover the past, she wants to reawaken it by summoning up the fearsome Behemoth...moreless

What other people say about Dark Season doesn't bring it any justice. To give it anything less than a 10 would be an outrage. What's good about it? If you need me to tell you what's good about it, it means you can't even tell the brilliance behind Dark Season. Nuff said.
