Maggie awakes from her terrible nightmare and phones Joe, begging him to come over right away...They go to the Blue Whale and Joe plies her with drink...uh huh...and she tells of her nightmare. Joe comes to the conclusion it must be the news of the attacks spooking her out, but she reckons there is more to it than that, but doesn't know what. Barney and her Dad enter the Whale, Maggie is clumsy and spills her double brandy, without realising the presence of Barney always seems to have this effect on her. Barney buys drinks all round, but Maggie is uncomfortable sitting with him, so she asks Joe for a dance. Burke enters for a nightcap and on hearing Mr Collins is around, goes over to meet him. Barney assures Burke, there will be no more trouble from Willie, he is a changed man, and adds "serenity is my favourite emotion" haha!! Later when everyone has gone, Barney is left talking to Burke, and all of a sudden he has to take his leave cos there is something he must do....and that is to go see Maggie, but what is he going to do????? he goes to her bedroom while she's asleep and shows his teeth for the first time!!

    • Victoria: My name is Victoria Winters. Night has come to Collinwood and the country around. And with it has come a terror, which has no name, and no known source. It is greater than a fear that stalks the Earth, because it is a fear that haunts the mind, without shape, without form. Until in dreams a form is found, and one is led to it down windless corridors, and forced finally to look upon its face.
