David and Amy continue to be manipulated by Quentin's ghost. Mrs. Johnson believes Victoria wants to return from the past. A message convinces Barnabas to stay at Collinwood.
David and Amy are given new instructions by Quentin. Barnabas decides that David and Amy should go on a trip to Boston with him and Maggie.
After his encounter with Chris, Joe sneaks into Collinwood and tries to take Amy. Elizabeth is tormented by Cassandra.
Joe survives being attacked by the werewolf and is found by Barnabas. Maggie begins her new life as governess at Collinwood.
In the aftermath of Victoria's disappearance, Elizabeth hires Maggie to be David and Amy's new governess. Amy warns Joe that he is in danger.
After seeing Victoria vanish, Elizabeth becomes certain that she will die soon. Chris seeks help from Julia as he awaits his transformation. Amy becomes worried about Elizabeth and tries to help her.

David and Amy are locked in the storage room of the west wing by an unknown force. Carolyn dreams that David and Amy will die. After learning that the children are not in their rooms, Elizabeth, Carolyn and Roger begin searching for them.
Carolyn talks with Chris about why he stopped the seance and about the mysterious Magda. Meanwhile, Amy wakes up David and they go searching for Quentin. Roger discovers a letter to his father, Jamison Collins, from Quentin.
After stopping Victoria from committing suicide, Professor Stokes arranges a seance to contact Jeff Clark. When contact is made with the other side, it's not who they expect.
Amy feels that something is wrong with her brother, Chris. Victoria receives a visit from Professor Stokes and asks how she could join Jeff.
David and Amy perform a seance to contact Quentin Collins. The next morning, Chris Jennings comes to Collinwood to see Amy.
Elizabeth meets Amy in the woods and brings her to Collinwood. While there, Amy bonds with David as they explore the west wing.
Following Jeff's disappearance, a grief-stricken Victoria returns to Collinwood. Maggie awakens with no memory of the previous day. Chris tells Julia that he will be leaving Collinsport and won't be able to see Amy anymore.
Nicholas plans to use Maggie's life force to create the new Eve. Chris visits his sister Amy at Windcliff Sanitarium.
Barnabas plans revenge on Trask after Ben tells him that Victoria has been sentenced to death. Trask comes to Collinwood and demands the keys to the Old House from Naomi.
On the day the judges are due to reach a verdict, Peter convinces Victoria to tell the truth about where she comes from when she testifies in court. Reverend Trask blackmails Nathan to testify against Victoria.
Barnabas convinces Ben to testify on Victoria's behalf at her trial. A surprise witness also gives testimony that may prove damning for the young governess.
Angelique tricks Josette into going out to Widow's Hill. After giving her a horrifying vision of her life with Barnabas, Josette jumps to her death.
Nathan and Joshua find a dazed Josette in the old house while investigating Suki's murder. They discover bite marks on her neck and begin to fear she will die as a result.
Suki wants Nathan to pay her more hush money and they plan to meet later at the old house. Suki arrives first and has an encounter with Barnabas leaving her mortally wounded. Nathan arrives shortly after and she names Barnabas as the attacker before she dies.
Natalie notices the ring on Josette's finger and demands to know where she got it. Josette deflects her question and Natalie believes a prophecy told to her by a witch is starting to happen. Fearing Josette is doomed to die on the cliffs, Natalie locks her in her room. She tells Roger and they discover the ring belongs to Barnabas. Sure that he placed the ring on Barnabas' finger prior to closing the coffin, Roger investigates the family tomb and finds his coffin empty.
morelessAfter she is bitten by Barnabas, Josette proclaims to her aunt that she is not leaving Collinwood. Disturbed by her niece's strange behavior, Natalie is convinced that Victoria has put a spell on Josette.
Barnabas tries to convince Josette to leave and forget about him. Millicent tells Josette that she and Nathan plan to be married. Nathan is reunited with an inconvenient face from his past.
Natalie has a doctor come. He is not sure about it, but agrees that it is most likely the plague due to the marks on Barnabas' neck, which the doctor thinks was caused by an infected rat. At first the doctor wants to have him removed, but Natalie talks him out of it.
Josette visits Victoria in jail. Josette pleads with her to cure Barnabas. Victoria again and again tells her that she is not the witch. Victoria tells Josette to leave Collinsport for her safty. Josette does not understand, and Victoria tells her to look in the Collins Family History book that Victoria had brought with her from the past.
Josette and Natalie search Victoria's room. They find it. Josette finds her portrait and an entry on her saying that she died in Winter 1795 by her own hand.moreless
Barnabas bribes one of the servants and enters the New House at Collinwood to interrogate Ben. Ben says he doesn't know who the witch is. Ben gets frustrated and hits Barnabas over the head with a bottle. Ben escapes Collinwood. Barnabas is found by a servant and Joshua tells him to leave. Barnabas finds out that Victoria has been jailed after Reverend Trask turned her in. He now believes that Angelique is most likely the witch. Barnabas finds where Ben is hiding and finds out that Ben can not tell Barnabas who is the witch because he can not speak her name in that fashion. Barnabas tells her about how Victoria will be killed for witchcraft. Barnabas then tells Ben to write the first letter of the name of the witch. Ben makes a 'V'...Barnabas says "V for Victoria". Ben then makes a mark in the V which makes it an A. Barnabas then says, "A....for Angelique"
