Joan Bennett takes a long time for her entrance at the very beginning of the episode, causing Louis Edmonds to have to wait in the foyer for her. Several actors fluff their lines. Louis Edmonds calls Liz "David," Joan Bennett calls Roger "father," and Michael Currie says "flishing fleet." Roger states that he and David have been at Collinwood for two months, yet Matthew said it was only one month in 13, which takes place merely the day before. When Sheriff Carter leaves Collinwood, he can be seen walking past the end of the set, as the wall was not extended far enough.
Carolyn states that Jeremiah Collins is her great-grandfather, although her mother said that he was her great-grandfather in DS-2. Later in the series, it is said that the current Collins family is descended from Daniel Collins, Jeremiah's cousin.

Matthew tells Vicki that the sobbing she heard was Josette Collins and that other ghosts haunt Collinwood. Later on in episodes 122, 125 and 126, when he's confronted by Josette, Bill Malloy and the widows, he'll deny believing in ghosts.
