  • The first appearance of Megavolt.

Darkwing and Launchpad find Megavolt stealing some light bulbs and they try to stop him. In the process of trying to capture him, Darkwing is blinded by a burst of light caused by Megavolt. Darkwing is blind and vows to continue to fight crime. He tries several methods and they all fail. Gosalyn feels bad for Darkwing and tries to get him to continue even though at first she wanted him to stop. They trick Darkwing into helping them find Megavolt and they go and scout it out but get captured in the process. Darkwing knows that he is the only one....
  • Darkwing must fight a new villain in St.Canard: Megavolt. After their first encounter Darkwing becomes blind. Can he stop Megavolt and regain his sight?

Megavolts first appearance, and brilliantly casted Dan Castellaneta is perfect as the crazy electro-villain. But how's the episode? Well, let me put it this way: Has there ever been a bad episode featuring Megavolt? No, and this is certainly no exception. The animation is top notch, as is the action and comedy. Another great episode in this fantastic series. If you haven't seen this episode then catch it on DVD this August.
  • The above summary says it pretty perfectly!

This episode rocked!! It had everything that made Darkwing Duck great plus even more! It had the goofy villian (Megavolt), comedy, danger and so on. But when 'DW' is blinded it gives the characters all new depths. Drake's piecemeal family is forced to unite to protect and care for a stubbornly independant and newly blinded Darkwing. Gosalyn reveals how much she really cares for her adoptive father in how much she frets over his fate. Darwing also demonstrates that he is a real hero. He rallies and fights for those he loves despite this crippling injury and his own defeatist attitude. All together, this episode is a classic!
