Yeah, all the more reason for them to make a Darkwing movie, or at least one more season. But at the rate Disney`s going, I don`t foresee it ever happening. Even though I think Darkwing at least deserves one more season.

Funnily enough, there was a forth season planned, and Bulba was supposedly inteneded to become a recurring foe, maybe even replacing Steelbeak as FOWL's top agent. That's why the Steerminator was left kinda open. The forth season was cancelled after pre-production had begun. It just happened to get lost in contract renegotiation with ABC. C'est la vie.

That makes me wander if there are some lost, unaired episodes out there. maybe they`ll even be released in future DVD volumes.

As far as I know, they never got any further than scripting them, and possibly even recording dialogue.

As far as I know,  Taurus Bulba was revived as the Steerminator and was later dumped into the water. He probably had drowned by then, I guess, as far as I'm concerned.

But at the end of the episode he survives and tells Darkwing that its not over and he will return, so it left it open for a future episode.

Yes! And as a matter of fact, They did plan on makeing a fourth season, and that episode would be on it. But the show was cancelled before they ever got the chance to finish the script. I think they should make a movie. Even if it`s a dvd direct release.

I've never seen the 'Steerminator'-episode. It has never aired in Europe, where I live. So for all these years, I've never knew Taurus Bulba survived from the pilot episodes. Does anybody know where I can see the episode on-line? If not: can somebody tell me what happens in it? I read that there was scripting for the follow-up. Is that available on-line too?

and in the search box, type Darkwing Duck.
There`s quite a few episodes on there, so enjoy!

    Thank you VERY much!

I just watched it. I'm sorry to say this, but this is *not* a cliff-hanger. A cliff-hanger would be a situation in which it is uncertain whether the hero will win or not. Here, Darkwing wins, Gosalyn is saved and Bulba just gets away, yelling he "will be back". All villains do that after the hero has defeated them. I could've known Disney wouldn't be stupid enough to have a real cliff-hanger and not finishing it.

It actually IS a cliffhanger, because Bulba gets away and we don't know if he'll come back or not (just from watching the episode). So we don't know if DW has truly won, because the bad guy, and a really important bad guy at that, got away!
