I know it might have been done before but was curious where all the villains are based on.

For example, I think Quackerjack could be based on the Joker and maybe Harley Quinn.
Bushroot might be based on Poison Ivy.
    But that's all.
And I was almost thinking that blue fluid waterdog might have been some sort of clayface.

I haven't seen all episodes, only a handful, so I don't know all names and villains.

Anyone knows for example what Megavolt is based on?

Since Darkwing is based off batman anyway, the whole series is a parody, sort of..

I love the show, just picking it up.

Well I think, personally, that Tuskernini reminds me of The Penguine, plus Tusker`s got henchmen that are peguines! seems pretty obvious to me!

Also, I might be wrong, but in the themesong I see a walrus who suspiciously looks like the walrus from the Alice in Wonderland story. Could it be..? Or yes, it is the penguin reference of course, silly me. I was thinking Mad Hatter is also a character from that story and the walrus might be a little bit of parody somewhere.

I am still thinking about Taurus Bulba....

how many villains are there anyway and what do they all look like?

Well, there`s Amonia Pine, she`s a hen who works for FOWL, and has a moronic obsession with cleaning

Steel Beak, The chief agent of FOWL a leg horn rooster

The Fearsome five which consists of,
The Liquidator, once known as Bud Flood He used to be a crooked bottled water salesman

MegaVolt, the I believe he`s a rat, who talks to light bulbs, and can control electricity

Quacker Jack the insane toy maker duck

Bush Root AKA Dr. Regenald Bush Root
    mad scientist turned half plant

And of course NegaDuck, Darkwing`s evil half

Moliarty, a take over the world crazy mole

Dr. Fossil (only aired on one Episode; Jurassic Jumble)
he`s a Pteranodon, I`m not sure what he used to be, but he retroevolved himself into a pterasaur, and wanted to turn everyone in St. Canard into dinosaurs

Theres many more, but I can`t remember all of them.

    Liquidator - Hydro man

Moliarty - Moleman from Fantastic Four

Steelbeak - Merger of the typical Bond mastermind villain AND the enforcer Jaws

Isis Vanderchill - Killer Frost (unlike Mister Freeze or Captain Cold, she doesn't need a cold gun since her powers are internal .... same deal with Killer Frost. Also, there was that whole "obsessed with finding a way to keep herself warm" deal ..... something Killer Frost needed to do in order to keep herself from becoming a victim of her own power)

    Cementhead- the Thing

    Yeah, that's a pretty good recall. ToniMontana804

    And of course

Negaduck - Owlman (from the Crime Syndicate)

Camille the Chameleon- either Clayface or well, the Chameleon

    Tuskernini - Penguin

Taurus Bulba (pre-Steerminator) - Kingpin (post-Steerminator, no clue)

Steelbeak looks like the Kellogs corn flakes rooster. I can totally see him going stright and getting a job doing ads for iron-fortified corn flakes.

Liquidator (who should of been a alligator. Liquid-gator. OUCH!)is sorta of Fluidman (google "the Imposibles". I'm dating myself.)turned bad guy.
