  • TRIVIA (2)

    ADD TRIVIA
    • After Launchpad and DW bust into Steelbeak's hideout, for a brief instance DW's mask becomes flesh (or rather feather) colored as he lunges into action.

    • When Comet Guy dances past the others, they're suddenly all clean after being covered in soot from the explosion. In Steel Beak's close-up, his jacket has little patches of soot again.

  • QUOTES (2)

    ADD QUOTES
    • Comet Guy: (Pounds three Egg Men into the ground) You can't make an omelet without pounding the living daylights out of a few eggs!

    • Darkwing: (Trying to show how to climb a rope) Take it easy! No fires, no tornadoes, no ice. Easy on the catastrophe, ok? Understand? Comprendo? Capeesh? Comet Guy: I promise, absolutely no capeeshing. (Brings building down on Darkwing) Oopsie.

  • NOTES (2)

    ADD NOTES
    • This episode marks the first appearance of Comet Guy.

    • Darkwing refers to Comet Guy as a "bizarre looking alien monstrosity". This seems to indicate that Darkwing is not familiar with humans. Although all type of creatures that are derivatives of animals appear in his world, there are no humans.

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • Sesame Street The phrase "Smarter Than a Speeding Bullet" was also often used when introducing Super Grover on Sesame Street.

    • Superman Comet Guy may be a direct parody of Superman, since his powers are very similar to Superman's (speed, flight, heat vision, etc...).

    • Superman The title of this episode is a parody of Superman. In the comics, and in the 80's show, Superman's speed was described as "Faster than a speeding bullet."
