David and Lisa is a 1998 television drama/romance movie starring Sidney Poitier as Dr. Jack Miller, Lukas Haas as David and Brittany Murphy as Lisa. David and Lisa meet when they are both in the psychiatric ward. David is afraid to be touched, but has the intelligence of a genius. Lisa suffers from split personalities.
