David Cassidy played a police officer who, because of his youthful appearance, could easily go undercover to catch the bad guys. He had a cute wife and a cute kid. He also had a gruff boss, Sgt. Abrams. The cute wife worried about David constantly. The gruff boss sometimes became exasperated with David's methods. You all know the drill. This was post-teen idol, pre-kitsch icon David Cassidy. The show itself sprung from the loins of the anthology series Police Story.moreless
