This episode features the second kiss between Dawson and Joey. Except this time an intoxicated Joey kisses Dawson.
Goof: When Joey tries to rent The English Patient from Dawson so she can get Alexander to sleep, she says the movie is 181minutes. But the writer made a little goof, because The English Patient is 162 minutes, not 181.
Goof: When Dawson comes over to talk to Joey about Billy's arrival, he says "remember yesterday when you asked me how things were going with Jen...". Dawson and Joey were wearing the same outfits and it was obviously the same day.
Joey: I need to rent the English Patient.
Pacey: May I please suggest something that doesn't completely blow.
Billy: So this is really it? You are leaving me for a guy who has an E.T. doll on his bed.
Jen: It's a collector item.
Billy: It is a doll.
Pacey: How do I look?
Joey: Like a before picture in an ad for geek remover.
Mitch: Anyone who has never been hurt is either very lucky, or very lonely.
Pacey: Look, Joey, I've never really taken a particular interest in your life because, frankly, your life has never been particularly interesting.
Gale: When are you going to stop punishing me?
Mitch: When I can get the vision of my naked wife playing hide the...
Cliff: Hey, I'm looking for Jen. You don't know where she is this period do you?
Dawson: No, I don't. Sorry.
Cliff: Well, give her a message, will you? Tell her I'm having a barbecue at my house this Saturday and I'd love it if she can make it. Hey, what the hell. Why don't you come too?
Dawson: Cool. Sounds great.
Cliff: I don't know if you can help me with it. Jen doesn't have a boyfriend, does she?
Dawson: Uh, yeah. She does. Me.
Cliff: Really?
Dawson: Yeah.
Cliff: That's terrific, man.
Pacey: Oh, Dawson, my fine, oblivious friend. One of these days, you're gonna have to take a gigantic fact-check my friend, all right. She didn't mistake you for anybody, okay. This girl (Joey) is head-in-the-clouds, one hundred percent, ass-backwards in love with you, all right?
