  • Grams makes Thanksgiving dinner and Jen's mother comes to town.

"Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is definitely an enjoyable episode. I like how Jen gets closer to her mom in this episode. I love how they share a moment. I like how Dawson confronts Jen's mother about being Eve's mother. The only thing I didn't like about this episode is that Jen never finds out about Eve and she doesn't find out about her for the rest of the series. I love how Andie and Joey kind of bond in this episode with Joey saying that things will get better between Andie and Pacey. Joey and Mitch saying their divorce was final was kind of harsh. I give this episode a 8.5/10.moreless

I thought Michelle Williams did an amazing job in this episode her charachter was absoutely amazing. I felt extremely bad for Dawson when his parents just told him that the divorce is final! wow what a way to end thanksgiving!.. good job guys that just sucked right there! Mrs Lenly is in a loveless marriage which Jen brings up during there arguement, i loved her characheter in this episoe, i don't remember joey's charachter though Gram's chracter was really good as well. I loved how she encuraged Jen to talk to her mother, I dont know if i would or not if i was in the situation myself thats a little weird. anyways well that's my review for this episode.. more to comemoreless

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Goof: Although it is Thanksgiving and there are nicely planted "fallen" colored leaves on the ground, the trees are still very full of green leaves.

    • Grams says that Jen has been in Capeside for 14 months, meaning season 1 started in September 1998, although it aired in January.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Joey: We're all strangers to our parents. I mean, they love us but they don't really know us. And sometimes, before we get a chance to know them, they're gone.

    • Pacey: For what it's worth, as a guy who has just gone through this himself, what just happened to you is a defining moment. When you come to see your parents as human beings, with their own problems, it is, oddly, kind of liberating. And when you realize they're way more messed up than you are, it's not worth your time or energy to go on despising them for it.

    • Dawson: Why is it I feel like I'm stuck in an episode of the Waltons?
