Dawson meets Jack and Jen at Hell's Kitchen to get the scoop on what's going on with the group. They tell him of Audrey and Pacey's breakup and Audrey and Joey's fight. Before he leaves, he gives them a handful of tickets to the No Doubt concert. He runs into Joey on the way out and they try to pretend that they don't feel totally awkward.
Distributing the tickets to everyone, Jen convinces Audrey to go, and when they run into C.J. she invites him. After Jen leaves, C.J. reveals that Audrey and he slept together - Audrey is not happy about it. At the concert, Jen sends Pacey to see Audrey and they start to clean up their mess. But when C.J. lets it slip that he slept with Audrey, Jen passive-aggressively takes her to task and calls her sad. C.J. continues to come on strong and won't take no for an answer. Pacey sees an exchange between them and realizes what happened and punches C.J. A fight ensues, and they are thrown out of the concert. Jen slams on C.J. for not being what he wants the world to think he is, and Emma lays it out for Pacey about how he seems addicted to saving Audrey even though she isn't his girlfriend anymore - not that it would be so great even if she was.
Across town, Dawson and Natasha go to the concert with Todd's tickets - but they turn out to be for another night. They try to sneak in but to no avail. When they are making out on a car, a policeman picks them up, initially thinking that they scalped their tickets and then just taking them in because of Natasha's smart mouth (she jokes about being a prostitute). They have to call Todd and he comes to get them, and in total Dad mode tells them that this will never happen again.
While all this is going on, Joey conveniently forgets her and Eddie's tickets and they have to sneak in. Trying to do this, they see Dawson and Natasha and Joey hides. She won't explain what's going on to Eddie, but they eventually get inside and miracle of miracles, Eddie's father works at the stadium (he is a total Mike Potter clone) and he gets them in. Later, back at the dorm, Eddie and Joey have a heart to heart about their dads - Eddie's is a good father, but unsupportive; while Joey's is just the opposite. They kiss and he leaves.
