If and when Day Break gets released on DVD, will you guys buy it?

    A) Hell yeah, It's a damn good show and I'm happy to support it and watch the unaired episodes.

    B) Only if there are good extras like commentaries and Making of features.

    C) No, Didn't like it, won't support it.

    D) No, I will only rent it because I want to see the unaired episodes.

I'm going with D. There are other shows that are just as good. I do miss it, but oh well. What can you do? This show was good, but I'm going to buy a DVD just to see how it finished. It's ABC's fault, and I'm not giving them anymore money.

Actually if you bought the DVD, the money wouldn't be supporting ABC.  It would go to Touchstone, the studio that produced the show.  ABC paid Touchstone to produce the show.

I already sent that question to ABC, but considering the way they operate, I will probably only get half an answer.

*A* Definatively. This was/is a great show. The show combined a few different successful concepts & it was an outstanding show. For me, it was starting to be as good as 24 because Hopper's character was becoming more & more "no-nonsense" & intense & each episode could stand alone more than each episode of 24 could stand alone. I guess we'll never know how good the show could have been, but hell yeah I would buy it on DVD.

    D. All the way

I loved the show but not enough to keep with me the 13 episodes with me for life. I'd rather just watch the other eps to finish the series for me.

Have to go with A (with a cavet). I won't pay 99 bucks for a 13 episode series. I'll buy it if it's realistically priced.

    And...

The story arc should wrap in the last episode. None of this cliff hanger/finish-the-story-next-season BS. They got away with it in "Twin Peaks" but that was an exception (one that actually had a second season and part of a third).

It kinda ticks me off that a show that requires a bit of thought on the part of the viewer gets cancelled because most of the people out there in TV-land would rather watch mindless drivel like "Deal or No Deal".

Hey I've got an idea for a show... It's reality-based and is about several ordinary people kicking each other in the crotch... last one standing gets the money. If my estimate of the average intelligence of the TV audience is correct it should be a big hit.

I'd schedule it right between "The Biggest Loser" and "House of Carters", it's practically a lock.

A, although I would prefer a HD-DVD version.  It's too bad this show didn't appear on a network more suited, like Sci-Fi.

    A. I probably buy it even if all the episodes ran and I saw them. I liked the show and would support a DVD release of this limited run show.

I would buy it if the money wouldn't support such a crappy TV station which cancels good show before ending...

As has been said before, buying the DVD would not support ABC, just Touchtone, the distributor, and the retailer.

I plan to download the rest of the episodes when they become available. If the rest of the season continues to impress and has a satisfactory conclusion then I'll buy it.
I'm not about to pay money to find out that the reason the show was dropped was that the show declined from the 7th episode on.

I'll buy it if it has all 13 episodes on it and others confirm that it's a decent ending... if I'm still not going to be satisfied then I won't waste my money on it.
