      • The lyrics to "Valentine"

Written by Jim Brickman and Jack Kugell. The vocals were performed by Jim Brickman and accompanied by Olivia Newton-John.

        If there were no words
        No way to speak
        I would still hear you
        If there were no tears
        No way to feel inside
        I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until
        the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my
        Valentine

        All of my life
        I have been waiting for
        All you give to me
        You've opened my eyes
And shown me how to love unselfishly
I've dreamed of this a thousand
        times before

But in my dreams I couldn't
        love you more
I will give you my heart
        Until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my
        Valentine

        (Solo)

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the
        end of time

'Cause all I need is you, my Valentine
You're all I need, my love, my
        Valentine

    • NOTES (2)

      • My Love, My Valentine
The search for the perfect Wedding song is over.

Although the Fans know that Bo and Hope were secretly married seconds before JT's birth, the rest of Salem has been patiently awaiting the nuptials. The wait came to an end today, Christmas Eve [on the show] when Bo and Hope finally said, "I do" in front of friends and family.

Like all couples, real-life and fictional, there is the need to find THE perfect song for the Bride and Groom to dance to at the reception. No easy task for one of daytime's most beloved couples, the music chosen must be ideal. A melody that evokes the couples love and devotion, a song that reflects the bond they share, and a haunting tune that sticks in the minds of the adoring viewer. Overall a musical composition that exudes all that Bo and Hope have meant to each other and the fans since they first set eyes on one another in 1984.

Music Directors Amy Burkhard and Steve Reinhardt found the definitive song for Bo and Hope's first dance and a theme that will carry this couple through the next decade on Days of Our Lives.
