Dead Man's Gun

Show Summary

Dead Man's Gun, produced by Henry "The Fonz" Winkler, is about a pistol forged in hell which brings sorrow into the lives of those who possess it. Each week, a different guest star would have the gun come into their possession in one way or another; usually they end up dead. One of the best things about the show were the great guest stars, usually former big-time actors who aren't quite so mainstream any more, who appeared on the show. Kris Kristofferson is the regular on the show, narrating every episode. He and the gun are the only links from episode to episode.

Daed Man's Gun was based in the old west and told the story of a gun that was fashioned by the devil to give bad luck to whoever weilds this gun. The show was just so damn well written and acted but no one watched it since Showtime moved it around and sometimes didn't even show it at it's normal time of 11PM. Each week a different story was told with a different set of characters. It connected many of the episodes in some of the later ones and I hated to see this show go. Very under-appreciated show and don't pay attention to the user ratings of this show as of today May 25th 2006 because only 6 people have rated it and they were probably just jerks.moreless
