Dead Set: Now the question is will it air or be remade for US tv?

What will the US do?

We all know that when something original and gripping is made the US get their hands on it and remake it... personally i dont think that E4 should sell the rights and just let US air this version. Your thoughts?

ive just watched the last episode on the official channel4 website (which i shall be using more because i love the fact you can rewatch stuff a month after it has aired) and i vote remake... and i suppose the US will change the ending so that someone survives.

Yeah, they will probably have Kelly survive with someone that has been recast to play spcae.. a muscular nfl player or something lol

I feel that they should just re-air it as is. I think it was well done to begin with and I kind of liked the depressing and futile way the show ended. When i first heard about this show I was hoping it was going to be a new serial drama with a horror focus. I was a little dissapointed when I found out it was only going to be a 5 part mini series. I think the concept had potential to make a decent run.

i dont think that they should re-make it, its pointless to watch the same thing but with different actors.

Yeah but most of what the US does is pointless...
I hope they don't remake it. If they do I hope it doesn't suck, cause I will probably give in and watch it at some point.
I liked the ending of the show, I thought somehow that it would be inevitable somewhere around ep 2 or 3 that no-one would survive.
Great show! Always wanted to see BB housemates die! lol

Dead Set will air later this October on Monday25th and will air through till Friday 29th in the US. It will air at midnight. It had been picked up by IFC and on halloween day they will be shown back to back starting at 8pm.

I say they should make another zombie series that is longer and a different story plus air this one in the US
