Andy Hillstrand: I just pull my first pot and its half full. John Hillstrand: Or it could be half empty.
Sig Hansen:Probably over 70 thousand pounds there. That's good. That's a lot of crab. A little luck, a lot of hard work. And B for not sleeping. (Sig Hansen walks away) Edgar Hansen:What was that our prep talk?
Nick Mavar:(after taking a fall)Five Advil coming on.
Nick Mavar: I starting to get the Opie stare here.
Keith Colburn:For 20 years, I'll done everything that I can, to build the reputation of this boat. That include every single season, every single week, every single day, right down to every single last pot. I pretty much what I seen is "I don't give a dam" crew fishing on a "I don't get a dam" boat. I have a lot of pride it what I do. I have a lot of pride in my boat. I expect my crew to have a lot of pride in this boat as well.
Keith Colburn: You don't open a Opie season with the horrendousness weather, freezing spay, the icing, everything else without the gear dial in 100%. It like the straw that broke the camel's back.
Phil Harris:(After not getting a clear picture with his engines)I don't know what to do. What to do. I don't know what to do.
Dave Millman: All the money we spent on these engines, we could of brought new ones twice over. Its a never ending money pit with them.
Phil Harris: Today is spend some money, drink some coffee and smoke some cigarettes. That what kind of day it will be.
Andy Hillstrand: There nothing that changes a crewmember attuidue more than clam weather after getting their ass kicked.
Russel Newberry: The flag took a beating on this trip. The whole boat took beating. If you took a look at my stomach it would be like that flag.
Jake Anderson: First day of fishing is usually the longest.
Sig Hansen: If you want to pull gear and weather permits it, you kind what to do that.
Sig Hansen: I don't expect the first pot to make or break our season, but will see.
Phil Harris: I don't know when we'll get back to Dutch Harbor. I don't know when the boat will get fix. I don't know when we'll get back out here.
Josh Harris:It be one hell of night. It dosen't get much wilder.
Josh Harris:(on the weather in the bay)It's no joke, washing up on the beach can really fuck you up.
