  • A tense and gritty episode, as crew members turn on each other and the vessels suffer under brutal sea conditions.

As the crab fishing season wears on, the boat crews don't get to ease up on the pressure. The weather is awful, the crab catch locations iffy and even the most experienced of the crew members start to lose control. Anyone who thought that catching the diners' favorite sea critters would be easy, will be continually re-educated by this show. Murray has to take over the 'Cornelia Marie' because the usual captain, Phil, is in the hospital. The other boats are in no better luck: the crane of the 'Northwestern' has almost had it, and the 'Wizard' actually springs a leak. Everything that can go wrong, does go wrong... "The Deadliest Catch" continues to prove it has characters far more interesting than any fiction.moreless
