  • This is a real \"reality\" show, no editing room antics required to make this interesting.

I just want to say that the guys working on these boat crews having really big brass nuts. The weather conditions alone would make most guys quit after one day, yet cruise after cruise they man up and get the job done. I find myself watching more and more History Channel, National geographic Channel etc., but this reality style show really gives a \"in your face\" look at a gruelling vocation that most of us would never otherwise see. Before i started watching, i have to admit that i always kind of looked down on dudes who were \"fisherman\" for a living. They deserve the months of off time after the harsh living conditions they endure for months at a time.moreless

    • Fear Factor Edgar's line after he ate the Cod's heart, "Evidently, fear is not a factor for me", is a reference to the NBC hit reality show, Fear Factor, where contestants must compete in stunts are designed to challenge the contestants both physically and mentally, among some of the stunts were the contestants had to eat extremely gross, but edible, food items. At the end of the episode the show host, Joe Rogan, would say to the contestant or contestants that won the episode, "Evidently, fear is not a factor for you."
