I've never been a hardcore fan of Deadliest Catch. That honor in my house goes to my wife. That said, I've been glued to my seat every Tuesday night over the last few weeks as Season 6 wound down in tribute to Captain Phil Harris. The Redemption Day episode was without a doubt the greatest thing I've seen on TV this year. The way the episode was shot and with Johnny Cash's haunting song mixed in, the closing moments of the show were some of the most powerful moments on television in a long, long time. If there is any justice when it comes to handing out Emmy Awards, the crew who put this episode together should walk away with several of them.moreless
