Well it seems that Deadliest Catch has gone two for two with episodes that are all about the fishing, the dangers and the problems with the boats' systems, in the name of the Cornelia Marie, once again.

Last week we were introduced to a new boat, the Incentive and her skipper who wasn't hamming up toward the film crew, like how I feel about some of the boats and the way that the series was in the first season. He was just there telling what was going on with his boat and that was it. It seems that was the same way with this episode, with the exception of the Time Bandit. Also did anybody notice that there was very little Mike Rowe narration in this episode when compare to the other episodes? With Mike Rowe not being the host of After the Catch this year, I hope that this isn't a sign to come that we are being slowly being weed off of Mike Rowe and getting used to somebody else.

First let's start with the Northwestern, there isn't much in this episode that I could give an option toward, just that they had offloaded a good amount of crab and was given a nice paid day for it. That Edgar is pissed off at his brother's choice on how to fish for crab, but all I have to say to that is that Sig is the skipper of the boat and that he should just shut up and take it. The real thing that is worrying me is next week, according to the previews that Sig is having trouble breathing and might be knock out of the season, I would like to know what was going on with him. I know that he not going to die, because I saw him in the first episode of After the Catch this week and he still around and kicking. So it couldn't be that seriously.

Second on the list is the Time Bandit, this and the return of the Wizard back on the fishing grounds seems to be the two main stories this week, for they seemed to take up the most time in this episode. It a common issue that we have seen since the third season, problems at the processors. It seems that the editors of the show and the fishermen themselves want to make them look bad and that they are greedy S.O.B. that want to take the fishermen for all they are wroth. But, I have talk to a few people that work there and they claimed that isn't the case, that they want to give all they are worth but what can an outsider do? This could be the build up for something that I know that is going to happen, the firing of Russell Newberry from the Time Bandit and this is something that I don't care to see.

Third is the Cornelia Marie, is nice to see that Phil and his boat are back to their old selves, catching crab and lots of them. This proves to Phil's saying, "Oppies are his forte," and this episode proves it, plus he did it icy conditions to boot as well. But, I don't like seeing him having problems with his boat again, but this time it wasn't cause by him, it was caused by his engineer that was trying to fix a small problem. Again it seems that his problems are only getting bigger because according to next week he get slammed by the ice so bad that he needs to call in the Coast Guard for help.

Now, finally we get to see that the Wizard is back to fishing grounds, a week late, but back in action, plus we get to see Lenny again fishing on board the Wizard, despite the fact that he was done with fishing. But while this is a good sign it comes at a lost, for Keith's brother, Monte is gone and Keith is bedeviled at the weather because of what happen earlier in the season. If this didn't happen to him, he wouldn't be as worry as he was with the weather and Lenny taking a hit, like he did during King crab season. He would of ask is alright and would still work, and not shut down like he did.
But, this week we didn't see the Incentive this week, but hey you can't get everything.moreless
