      • Sig Hansen: I like full tables and I cannot lie. This is an oblivious parody of one the lyrics from 1990's song "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-A lot, which is "I like big butts and I cannot lie".

      • The scene where the two deckhands from the Time Bandit standing on the bow of the their boat with their arm stretch out is very similar to the scene from the 1997 movie Titanic starting Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet where both of them are standing on the bow of the passenger liner.
