Deal or No Deal: Is NBC planning to bring Deal Or No Deal back to TV?

I have been hearing rumors through the grapevine that NBC is trying to bring Deal Or No Deal back into their lineup and I want to know if the rumor is true? Because I heard rumors that NBC was holding casting calls for people to audition to be contestants on the new season of Deal Or No Deal but I haven't heard any other news thus far. I also heard that CNBC will be airing some of the new Deal Or No Deal episodes in honor of Deal Or No Deal's comeback,

Has anyone heard about this rumor?,

I heard something like that as well, my guess is if DOND does comes back,
it'll be some filler episodes during the summer...

That's great news about Deal Or No Deal returning to NBC and I cannot wait to see it again and record it to my handy Vugo recording device. Now when you mentioned Deal Or No Deal returning to NBC in the summer do you mean Summer 2010 or Summer 2011?,

Despite it being unlikely now, I'd really like to see this show back on NBC. They really have yet to improve their ratings since they cancelled it and it is still very popular.

You might think with the release of the new Deal Or No Deal Special Edition video games for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS NBC will now have plans to bring Deal Or No Deal back from Game Show Heaven with all new episodes to enjoy and I believe that if Deal Or No Deal returns to NBC it will be a great miracle to fans to see this show make a good comeback. Since it's been three years since Deal Or No Deal's shocking cancellation it still saddens me that NBC pulled the plug on this great show and the only things of Howie Mandel that I survive on are his movies and DOND reruns each morning on GSN,

Please NBC give Deal Or No Deal a second chance and bring it back,

I'm guessing NBC would probably stick with Minute to Win It rather than bring DOND back. With the syndicated version cancelled, the most likely route for new episodes would be GSN...
