  • KIYOMI IS DEAD!!! HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN!!! XD

I cannot express how much I hate Kiyomi Takada. I disliked her in part one, but I don't think I really hated her until part two when Light cheated on Misa with her. You see, I used to have a boyfriend that is a lot like Light, and I am a lot like Misa. So when me and my boyfriend broke up, he dove for this girl who acts a lot like Kiyomi, so I hate her! ^_^ That may sound stupid to you, but I'm a teenage girl, it can't be helped. And because Light killed Kiyomi, he was my 6th favorite character up until I saw thisweek's episode... Which was intensely terrifying, by the way! Especially to watch in the dark at midnight like I did! Anyway, in this episode, Mello, whose hair I was just starting to like!, kidnaps Kiyomi, who is being a big baby about it and starts crying and all sorts of crap. Mello locks her inside a truck and drives around. Kiyomi *coughslutcough* calls Light and whines to him that she's been kidnapped, and he tells her to kill Mello, and she does. I'm sorry, Bry! Bryson was a big Mello fan girl. So then Kiyomi begs Light to free her, and he sets the truck on fire with her inside and she dies!!! XD I was laughing like a crazy person the whole time, it was freaking awesome!!! XDmoreless
  • *spoilers* Loved this episode, Light your such a bad boy.

    9.5
    "Superb"
This episode had a lot of exciting things going on. Kiyomi was kidnapped by Mello, with the help of his friend Matt. Matt looked like a cool character, I wish we had seen more of him. Misa and Mogi don't seem to be in any trouble. While Kiyomi was kidnapped, she was forced to take of everything she was wearing and place it in a box, it was probably in insure safety or something. However, she snuck a piece of the death note, and was able to kill Mello and get in contact with Light. Light must have been ever so happy to hear that she was able to kill Mello. Now since that is done, there really is no use for Kiyomi. I cannot believe Light went as far as to kill her, making it look like suicide. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at what Light did, but I still was.moreless
  • Darn you, Light Yagami!!!!!!!!!

    "Perfect"
I had all I can stand from this guy. I let him get away with countless murder. I allowed him to use Kiyomi Takada. I agreed to him joining the task force. I applauded him for giving up his memories of the Death Note. I even let him smile on L's death! (L, you will be missed) I grinned and said "Go for it. I won't stop you." Now, that jerkface made Kiyomi kill my favorite character, Mello!!!! I can't take his unrational desisions anymore!! I really, really, REALLY hope Near catches him and brings him to justice soon. Oh, and if that wasn't bad enough, Light the idiot decides to use Kiyomi to set the truck on fire and commit suicide just because she's nothing to him anymore!! Light Yagami, may you burn down there! Mihael Keehl, rest in peace.moreless
  • Crossing the Line

    "Perfect"
Even though I never liked Light I had my resprects I knew where the line was drawn and Light has finally steped over the line, he's now became a villan I just plain hate.

The good guys were obviously getting closer to discovering his identity and as we see even though Light might have the mind of a master chess player he obviously ignored the fundamantal fact that even they can make a mistake once in a while in a match. The good news is dependin on how skilled they are they can recover from it quickly by identitying it. But Light is too egotistical making him too stuburn to admit to it. I'll get to his mistake latter.
Didn't mind that Mello died never really liked that guy.

Kyomi Takama was always one of my favorate characters in the series. I thought she was a good match for Light in my book because she was more mature, smart, warm, had some kind of spice in her which made her my type, might be a little guilty of egotism but it was on a harmless level which I can forgive her for, really looked great in the ahem nude. Her only shame might be in chosing the wrong significant other to love.

I'll admit this epsode was intense because you weren't exactly sure what was going to happen in the end mainly to her, I actually felt concerned for her. Those final moments in the end I'll admit were gut wrenching to me and gave me a sick feeling inside even though she is safe and taken out Mello instead of Light coming to her to save her instead he just kills her for no reason at all. I don't exactly know why he did it and when you think about it more thoughly there isn't really much to no logic to it. Was it because he was afraid the police were going to get to her on time even if that was the case he really didn't have to worry due to her status and commitment to Light, as we seen in past episodes even when they questioned her she didn't tell them much of anything, so he was covered. Or was it just he didn't find a use for her anymore, which doesn't make sense because she actaually is a very valuable ally to him that can still be. Or was it something even sicker and more cold, he just did it intentinally because he doesn't want anyone to love him at all the only person that can do that is himself.

I don't know and I'm not sure I even want to know, this is just the start of his decent, as we see Light is starting to lose his power this was a wrong move in his part not just morally but soulful, Light may be smart but this horrible act just shows he finally got stupid and I hate him for it, and just don't care anymore if he lives or dies.

Kyomi Takama may you rest in peace, I'll miss you.moreless
  • How else can this series surprise you?

    "Perfect"
In this episode towards the end of the series, let me say something. Mello dies, Matt dies, Takada dies. All by Light's hand, mostly. Speaking of Matt, what was his point really in the series. He has only appeared in one other episode and didn't talk, and then he's in this episode and then shot at no warning. Wow. Anyway, this was a very good and nerve-wracking episode. A ton of suspense. You can now tell that the final events of the series are coming ever closer, now that Near wanted to meet L (Light, ahem). But Light knows no limits and has deceived everybody. The way things unfolded actually surprised me, and now I'm wondering if it can be topped, which it probably can.moreless

    ADD TRIVIA
    • Omitted Scene: Gevanni's Finishing Touch Before the opening montage begins in the manga, Near still wonders if SPK Agent Gevanni is being controlled by the Death Note, keeping in mind that the notebook has the ability to control people for up to 23 days. Near even goes as far as ordering Gevanni to go to the hospital for a complete physical examination to see if he has developed any illness. He then makes plans to settle the conflict with Kira at the first possible opportunity after the 23rd (the final day that Gevanni can be controlled). Near tells Gevanni that he, in particular, has one last finishing touch to do.

    • Altered Scene: Opening Montage The episode's opening montage is slightly different from the manga, which does not actually show Mello. In particular, the anime makes clear that the person calling Hal is indeed Mello, which is not verified in the manga until much later. The manga also includes Light's younger sister, Sayu, in Takada's report on the Coming of Age Ceremony (confirmed in Death Note Volume 13: How to Read), suggesting that she has recovered from her trauma of being held hostage. Her mental health is never fully confirmed by the author, however.

    • Omitted Scene: Aizawa's Suspicions After Near and Light schedule to meet, the manga has a short scene of Aizawa becoming anxious about the meeting, knowing that it will bring an end to the Kira case. He then drives Light to meet with Takada, worrying that Light will leak information about the meeting with Near to Takada. However, he begins to calm down, telling himself that Near would have explicitly told Light not to meet with Takada if it were to interfere with his plans. As he continues to drive, Aizawa's suspicions about Light continue, seeing Light's calmness as some kind of sign that he truly is Kira. Then again, he tells himself that Light could just look calm because he himself is not.

    • Moved Scene: News Report The scene, spanning from the Task Force finding out about Takada's kidnapping to when Near is about to call them, is moved from after Mello drives off with Takada in the delivery truck, in the manga, to before Mello initially kidnaps Takada on the motorcycle, in the anime.

    • Altered Scene: Hal Calls Near When Near contacts the Task Force, telling them that he was not the one who kidnapped Kiyomi, he confirms that Mello must have been behind the kidnapping by getting in contact with Near. While the anime merely shows a quick shot of Hal being contacted, the manga goes into significantly more detail. While driving, Hal contacts Near to confirm that Mello was behind Kiyomi's kidnapping. After a moment of silence, Near asks Hal if she has been leaking SPK information to Mello, to which Hal admits to. However, Hal tells Near that she did not leak any information about Mikami at all. Near reveals that if Mello finds out about Mikami somehow, "this will all be a waste." He then orders Hal to stop Mello at all costs. Hal is hesitant at first, but finally gives in when Near orders her with a blunt "Do it," thus better explaining why she appears in front of the church at the end of the episode alongside Light and the Task Force.

    • Filler Scene: Light Calls Kiyomi Preceding Kiyomi's call to Light while kidnapped is a short scene, not shown in the manga, of Light attempting to call Kiyomi's cell phone while at the Task Force HQ but to no avail.

    • Altered Scene: Takada's Tears While she is obviously in great alarm while contacting Light via cell phone while kidnapped in both the manga and anime version, Kiyomi Takada never cries in the manga nor does she bleed slightly from the nearby broken window.

    • Light: Takada Kiyomi: suicide. On January 26th 2013, at 2:32pm. Burnt all her belongings and anything written down before burning herself to death.

    • Light: Please hurry up. It is Mello, and we don't know what he will do.

    • Mello: (referring to Takada's kidnapping) There is no other way then this. I have to be the one to do it!

    • Matt: Hey! Hey! Since when is Japan allowed to have possession of those nice arms? And besides, you want to know from me where my accomplice went to, right? You can't possibly fire at… (Matt is abruptly and unanimously shot to death by more then a dozen men) Security Agent: What an idiot. It's not that you are going to tell us a thing. Going against Kira is definitely a crime punishable by death.

    • Light: Near, this is my victory.

    • Light: Near! Near: Yagami Light! Both: I have predicted and read your moves. I am definitely going to win!

    • Light: But I was regarded as Kira by you, isn't it? You should not want to reveal to me what you look like. Near: No, I have to reveal my face to show you what I want to. And, by revealing my face, I can reveal something to you as well. With that, we will be able to put an end to this. Aizawa (to himself): Near is doing this to show that Light is Kira. If Light is Kira, he will be doing this to kill Near.
